i was inspired by all the yewook today. from Ryeowook leaving for China to Ryeowook coming back for commercial.
Yesung is first to text Ryeowook, barely waiting until the younger leaves his sight and boards the plane.
You'll text me when you get there. Safely.
And that's all it says, but Ryeowook will know when he reads it that what Yesung really meant was "Be safe. Oh, and text me back."

Yesung texts Ryeowook after he watches the music video with the rest of Super Junior, the song playing loudly from the living room as Kangin tries to sing along drunkenly to the foreign language.
You don't look like you, OK?
And that's all it says, but Ryeowook knows when his phone buzzes and lights up on his bedside table and reads it sleepily that what Yesung really means is "I miss you. Don't change too much while you're gone."

Yesung sends a message blindly under the table, while showing a smile off to Leeteuk and Eunhyuk, trying to be as charismatic as he can be.
Have you gotten food poisoning from China yet?
And that's all it says, but Ryeowook smiles when he reads it and declines Hankyung's offer to take him to have some authentic Chinese food, because he knows that what Yesung really means "Don't get sick, please be careful."

Zhou Mi is the first to send Yesung a message, with Ryeowook's phone, of course.
I'm sick of kimchi.
And that's all it says, but Yesung doesn't get it and doesn't know and so he just sends a question mark back, which is responded by a mianhae, mianhae - that wasn't me.
And that's all it says, so Yesung spends the next few days wondering who it could've been if it wasn't Ryeowook until Shindong says Oh, you look terrible, and so Yesung forgets about it.

Yesung is always on Ryeowook's baidu, clicking and scrolling through the foreign words because he is hungry for Ryeowook. So when he sends Ryeowook a message (after seeing a very controversial picture of Ryeowook and Henry), it is no surprise that's he's quite angry.
I can sing better than him.
And that's all it says, but Ryeowook only smiles and shows it to Henry - who's quick to agree but leaves no time wasted on bragging how Yesung can't play violin like he can - before showing it to Zhou Mi.
"It means 'Don't let me get so jealous, you're mine,'" Ryeowook explains with a smile and Zhou Mi complains about kimchi.

Eunhyuk is always playing tricks, claiming he needs to play more to make up for Donghae's absence and stupidity, so when he takes Yesung's phone and sends a quick message, he can't help but pat himself on the back.
I love you and I miss you terribly. You should come home. We can get it on. ;D
And that's all it says, but Ryeowook spends three days and fourteen hours trying to figure it out before texting back, "Are you saying you don't like my hair?"

Yesung watches the latest fancam of SJM, them singing At Least I Still Have You live.
You weren't bad. That other kid, too.
And that's all it says, but Ryeowook smiles and leans over to show the message to Kyuhyun while on the car ride home and whispers that it really means "You two were fantastic. I'm proud of you."

Yesung is drunk, along with Leeteuk, and is watching Attack on the Pin-Up Boys at three in the morning.
I'm here with Leeteuk.
And that's all it says, but Ryeowook cries a little bit because he knows that what Yesung really means "I'm lonely without you."

Yesung is the first to take Ryeowook into his arms and greet the younger loudly, his eyes never leaving Ryeowook's face as they take the luggage back to the car. He listens as Ryeowook, Donghae, and Siwon all tell their stories from China.
"And then Hankyung tripped on this-"
"And Zhou Mi threw Henry across the-"
"And I fan caught me in my robe-"
Instead of listening, Yesung pulls his phone from his pocket and - even though Ryeowook is sitting to his right - texts the younger.
I missed your face.
And that's all it says, but Ryeowook smiles and takes Yesung's hand into his own, squeezing it tightly, because he knows that what Yesung really means "I love you."
