omg this is basically the most amazing thing.

an april/leslie bonding fic ft. the beautiful biracial butterfly jade?? it might not be america's next top best friend, but this fic is certainly great, and i cannot tell you how much i enjoyed reading it. it almost makes the fact that i still watch antm worth it.

now if you'll excuse me, i'm going to go watch jade's covergirl commercial 239080 times.

I could not write a proper ANTM story without including Jade. She's the best thing that ever happened to ANTM.

My sister still watches ANTM too. I had to quit after Tyra fired Nigel and the Jays. What is the point without all their snarky little comments?? I just started watching The Face and it is a whole different vein of ANTM craziness. I'm kind of waiting for Naomi Campbell to kill someone in their sleep.

Oh man, I love this. This was my mom and I when I was in high school. Vegetating in front of an ANTM marathon. Oh god, sometimes I even seek out streaming links and just sit in bed all day watching an old cycle. I love this. I feel like 90% of women can relate to this fic, haha. So greattttt <3 I love Leslie and April times, because really they're the most unlikely pair of friends in the world but somehow they fit so well when they bond.

ALSO WASNT THE TELEPROMPTER EPISODE THE ONE WITH WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU TIFFANY HOW DAAARE YOUUUU BECAUSE OMG HOW WOULD LESLIE REACT I FEEL LIKE SHE MIGHT CRY??

And oh man. Lisa :( I get so mad because Lisa was my favorite (when she gets drunk and says EVERYBODY NEEDS TO CALM DOWN, JUST CALM DOWN, EAT A COOKIE!! omfg) but then she had to go take a piss in a diaper and ruin everythinggggg

I think cycle 7 was the last one that was really hilariously amazing, but I stupidly kept watching until about 2 years ago (whatever cycle that was). If you have a chance, you should watch the all-star season, though. They make MUSIC VIDEOS based on their own original songs and Tyra forces them to include the lyric "pot ledom" (Top Model backwards) and they are HORRIFIC. If you ever need a good laugh...

Lol!! I had such a hard time parsing down what I wanted to include because there are so many fantastic ANTM moments. This probably could have gone on much, much longer (like can you imagine Leslie's reaction to the plastic surgery photo shoot?).
