(no subject)
Ok. So Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was delivered to me on Tuesday afternoon. I ordered the book from DeepDiscount.com on July 9th, and they shipped the book on July 13th. It said that "This item is a pre-order. It will ship to arrive on or around the scheduled release date [of] July 21, 2007." There was a 5 to 10 day business day delivery shipping method. I don't know if you'd count Saturday as a business day, so I got the book in 3.
I don't want to spoil anything here. I don't really know how I feel about the ending yet. I liked it, I just don't know if I like how Rowling got there. I also should have re-read Half-Blood Prince before this, because I had forgotten a lot of stuff previously involving the Horcruxes.
Now that the series is over, I really wish that McGonagall and Lupin received more speaking time than what they got. Since "You-Know-Who" died in book 5, they've become my favorite characters. The book was kind of Harry-centric, but his name is in the title right? :P
Snape is one of my favorite characters now.
Scholastic called my grandmother this afternoon (the name still on my DeepDiscount account) and asked me not to read the book until Saturday. They're about 4 hours too late. Sorry guys! I won't spoil anything here though.
