Happy Hallmark Holiday everyone!
Unlike this guy, for example, I think I'm one of the few people in the world who are happy to be single today. I do have to say that having someone to cuddle up with and hump on would be nice though ;)
I start working again on Wednesday, actually full time this time around, but making a little less an hour. It should still balance out to be a raise overall, but not by a whole lot... I've gotten mixed messages on whether it's a permanent or temp position, but it's not one I'd want to be working for a really long time either, so I'll take it until I can find something better at least.
Ridley and I seemed to have made a little more peace between us recently as well, so that's good. Still too early to tell how it could all pan out of course, but at least there is more civility there then in recent memory. We agreed to sit down for lunch or some such thing at some point and try and work out at least enough to be comfortable around one another - even if we don't really hang out together directly it's bound to be unavoidable given the number of our mutual friends. There is just no need for any ongoing drama sillyness.
I finally got around to watching Team America & Saw recently. And repeatedly. And then both repeatedly again. Both brilliant. Somewhere between Naked Blood brilliant and Redneck Zombies brilliant - those of you who've talked movies with me will know that probably puts them somewhere in the top ten flicks I'm into right now ;)
