I figured I should give the
Snowflake Challenge a go this year. Whether I can keep it up is another matter. Lol.
In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator.
This is a hard one for me because I'm my own worst critic, but here goes (and I'll keep it to stories I've written over the last year):
My biggest story over the past year (76K), and one I was truly happy to be able to finish, was my WLIIA vampire slayer fic
What Darkness Conceals - Colin/Ryan, NC-17. It now has a special place in my heart, and, although there are always things that I would pick at and change endlessly (as with all of my fics), I can honestly say that I am proud of how this one turned out. I only wish there were more people still around in the fandom to read it.
Probably my favourite Snarry fic of 2014, and one that got slightly out of hand, was my Road Not Taken fest fic,
Bound To You (originally intended for the Snarry-A-Thon). It was a bit of an uphill struggle to write, but I really enjoyed it, and I'm very pleased with the finished piece. It was also the first time I'd written a bonding fic.
And lastly, a smutty WLIIA fic,
Persuasion - Colin/Jeff, NC-17. This one didn't get much attention, probably because it wasn't RyCol, but I have a real soft spot for this pairing, and I like to write something different once in a while.
