Someone please explain these phenomena
So, i went to work today, because i always have red pepper lunch shift on thursdays...
I walk in and two of the other delivery guys, ray and neil, are already there. I quizzically looked at both of them and figured that neil was just there to hang around, because he's like that. So i shrug it off and wait for the first order, and the first sight of my boss. Lisa, the nicest boss i've ever had (and the nicer of the two bosses), looked at me and asked me if i was there to place an order. I giggled a bit and told her i usually work lunches on thursday, and she checks the schedule, lo and behold it's true. But she says i can go home and apologizes profusely...needless to say i didn't mind. I hate the Lunch shift, and i have tons of hw. So i left, went back in with a fierce hunger in my belly. I asked for the Chicken fried rice lunch special, with the egg roll of course. She tells me "It's free, i feel so bad for you coming in!" I was shocked and pleased and shortly afterwards, back home again in the comfort of my appt, no snow and cold weather ( Sorry max :( ). So, i figured the only thing that could possibly take up my time at this point is class. I was checking LJ and email, and found one email from my sex ed teacher; class was cancelled...So my entire day has gone from suck to rule within a matter of minutes. And now i get to curl up with my book and read and work the day away. Sweet.
