Spirit, make my heart transform to this truth
The greatness of God demands a response.
There is a direct relationship between our worship and the greatness of God. They are inexplicably tied.
There is a direct relationship with how we worship God and what we think about God.
When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that He's done for me, my SOUL cries out...
So let me explain my God, oh my soul.. adopt this for the sake of your daily worship and life...
Psalm 95:3-5,7
For the LORD is a great God
And a great King above all gods,
4In whose hand are the depths of the earth,
The peaks of the mountains are His also.
5The sea is His, for it was He who made it,
And His hands formed the dry land.
6Come, let us worship and bow down,
Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
7For He is our God,
And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand.
He is above and beyond. He is transcendent. He is lofty. He is different than us!
Isaiah 40:25
To whom then will you liken me, that I would be his equal?
Paul would go on to say:
Romans 11:33-34
33Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!
34For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR?
He is transcendent!!
Friends, what makes God great? The thing that makes Him great is that He's not like us.
He is lofty.
He is above.
He is beyond.
We get tired and worn out and weary, but God never sleeps nor slumber.
We are people who fall down in sin, but He is strong and He is holy.
We are faithless, He is faithful. He is transcendent. He is lofty.
The knowledge and all the intellect of Albert Einstein is but a passing thought to God.
Bill Gates and all of his money is but pocket change to the God twho owns the cattle of a thousand hills.
The length of the Roman rule covering centuries at a time, was but one passing minute in the economy of God.
He is great.
Nebuchadnezzar couldn't stop Him.
Satan couldnt keep Him in the grave.
Hilter couldnt thwart His plans.
He is the great transcedent God!
