Argh.
People need to realize that holiday weeks are screwy for loads.
I wasted yesterday sleeping for work instead of tending my failing social life (Sorry 'bout Friday, Taylor! I was in Coma-sleep.), and of course I pop in to my job tonight only to find there is no load for me to work. Yay. (<-sarcasm)
So, I do overstock. I did most of it yesterday, so it didn't take long. So I face, which only takes an hour tops. So I face and date check dairy. Still hours to go. I get drafted to print the day's labels. Short task. Finally I get forcibly volunteered to do grocery, and of course there's nothing but crap work left, so I do odds and ends and little crap jobs for the rest of the night, while my partner, who was SUPPOSED to work until 8:30am with me, ducks out at 7am. FRUSTRATION.
This is all compounded by the fact that the load is coming today, so now I have to work tonight to do it, instead of things being checked and my being asked to work Sunday, not Saturday, in the first place.
I've got Monday and Tuesday off though at least.
What day do you leave for America, Taylor?
real life,
work
