Olympics
If I could pick any sport? Hmm, let's see.
I'm not all that competitive. I like sports that're social.Team events. I wouldn't want to do something on my own. So, if I could do basketball or something similar, that'd be it.
Coed mudwrestling's not an option--? Ow! Someone tell my girlfriend she's not allowed to smack me upside the head for thinking!
Maybe relay races or that kind of event. I'm pretty fast, and being tall has a lot of advantages. So does not caring if you get hit by flying objects, inanimate or animate. I've had a lot of practice at that one!
Being at the Olympics at all would be a rush. I don't think anyone goes for the medals, though of course they must hope. It's the chance to be THE best,in the whole world. --Which is, probably, a good reason I'm not an Olympic wannabe. I'm not top or bottom, I'm in the middle, like the good part of a sandwich.
I used to play basketball with my school friends. When I was twelve.
Until I was almost 17, I played so badly that people got confused about which team I was on. "...why did you just give the other team's captain the ball?"
Of course, it didn't help that I was five foot nothing back then, and scrawny as a pencil. Clumsy. I still stuck with it. A couple years and about a foot's growth helped. I had a lot of fun, and so did the other boys. Good memories, not so much a future career plan.
If they ever have a 'Paintball' event or piebaking? DEFINITELY sign me up.
Other than that, I'll sit on the sidelines with my camera and cheer.
