Summary: It’s was always so glaringly subtle.
Greg leans forward in his seat amongst the audience. This is the first time he’s seen the show from a fan’s point of view. Sure, he’s caught glimpses on television or a snip-it or two in the green room, but he’s never actually seen the show, especially not when no one knew he was watching: like now. They all look so different from this perspective, so much more is noticed. One thing in particular caught and held Greg’s mind from the very opening of the show.
The crowd around him laughs uproariously at some exchange between Ryan and Drew, but he continues to stare intently at the monitor. My God, how did he not pick up on this when he’s been in the middle of it for nearly ten years? Granted, it was stronger on some days more than others, now that he realized it was there at it.
He wondered if anyone else saw it? It was so obvious in Ryan’s mellow, languid attitude and Colin’s slightly more serious, commanding scene leading, not to mention in Wayne’s in-your-face seductive manner and Chip’s warm, calming way. Yes, it was definitely true: The cast of Whose Line is it Anyway? is a bag of M&Ms.
Ryan in his yellow, Colin in his red, Wayne in his green, and Chip in his blue. What an absolutely delicious tidbit. The wardrobe department must be a group of fanfiction writers. This is just way to perfect to be coincidence. Making Ryan the yellow to Colin’s red? Wow.
Greg stands, proudly straightens his simple, black, tie and jacket, and strolls out the back exit, knowing he’ll never be able to keep a straight face on stage ever again.
