Plenty to say
So far this trip has been a great time, the first show was a bit awkward but there were some good times in there, hung out with punk rock joel a little talked to some crazy bums, stayed at a pretty cool house that used to be a 7-11! it was a really cool place with a recording studio and everything, this girl piper is the one that let us stay there, she was super nice and was from richmond (where i grew up) so naturally i liked her that much more, but also she fed us and filled the tank up in the van.
The day in Brookdale at the haunted mansion was a long and eventful one! we got there HELLA early like 2 and the show didnt start til 10. but we found stuff to do, played pool looked around and matt david & bj went for a swim, i did not seeing i cant swim but i did take some good pictures, and met a not so seemingly great cute lifeguard. but people started to show up after awhile and the show got under way, even with the dumbest guy in a god damn scooter thing. i did the lights for the show that was fun. but it has to be the vibe the place gave off cuz there were hella two fights! like crazy ones! but overall it was a good show, cops and all.
Then its was off to freaking San Diego! which is like 8 hours from where we were, we only made it 4 hours then had to stop in a truck stop type thing. then made it the rest of the morning the next day. The Zombie Lounge seemed like a cool place but i totally didnt get in for all but sex tape. but whatever, had a chance to look around the town a little. and david caught the jungle fever pretty bad! it was those hookers all over the place! then that night we stayed at the house of the guy who does Monkey bucket! who happends to an awesome guy! Sex Tape played the Knitting factory in Hollywood tonight, hella saw all those stars in the ground! but the show was cool. had some random couple of drunk girls talk to me about... im not even sure what but it was funny. and now where at Barry's house again, the Monkey Bucket guy. going to Stockton tomorrow for the Black water cafe show, then i think were coming back to sac for the night and leaving for Redding and then off to Oregon! cant wait for oregon, it all sounds like a really cool place. and thats where im suppose to send off postcards to!
