Word Salad

I think this phrase of Douglas' applies well to Palin. She speaks and this word salad pours out. I'm not really sure what she's saying half the time. I mean, they're words I recognize, I get the meanings, but she tosses random phrases together and I'm left feeling a little bit confused if she ever really said anything ( Read more... )

I heard a guy on the radio this morning liken her interview with Katie Couric to a schoolboy who had to give an oral book report but hadn't read the book.
I thought it was the perfect description.

I like it, Douglas made a similar one during the debate, just if you throw enough words out there maybe luck will strike, or you'll confuse people enough they'll think you said something smart.
