I have two memes to do - I'll do those tomorrow.

So, I've been  watching various things.  I guess this is my watching phase.  Time for my reading phase, now.  For now, I'm keeping this brief.

1.  Clannad
I watched part one of this, and you know what?  It was awesome.  It's not particularly substantial, though it is heartbreaking at times.  Mostly, it'

Yeah. . .I think my favorite characters are Tomoya and Nagisa (tied), then Kotoooooomiii and then everyone else, because the cast is just. . .lovable. Lovable like a dango. But I really feel warm and protective toward Nagisa and OH ARGH.

Boy do I feel manipulated.

The scene where Sunohara talks to Fuuko and then doesn't remember who he's talking to is also really. . .sad. And the episode where Tomoya and Nagisa and Fuuko have a party and then they wake up and Tomoya and Nagisa have forgotten. . . . ;__; And Nagisa's mom, too. But then the show also has lots of fluffy and funny moments, like Tomoya drilling Nagisa on "why do you want to start the drama club," or the "Youhei Sunohara Wants To Join Your Party" thing, or Tomoyo beating up people in a bear suit, or Kotomi's deadly weapon (or her acting).

I feel sad that every time it comes up it gets accompanied by Fan Rage of all stripes, because it's really just. . .sweet and unassuming.

I was wondering how your opinion of Nicholas would be after volume two. ^^; You've got bad luck with that name. . .Nicholas and Nicola. Poor you.

Oddly, what I'm looking forward to the most is. . .more Rail Tracer. ^^; I'm also curious to know the connection between Chane and Huey, as they have the same last name. And I want to know how Firo became immortal. And a bunch of other things as well. What a fun show.

Hm, well maybe I'll rent Lie to Me, then, as I like to see things in order. ^^; Time for a long wait.
