Games You Wanna Master

God damn sonofabitch. Call Of Duty... ok, I dug on Rainbow 6: Vegas... for their mastery of sneaky planning and action shootout...
See, all the Rainbow Six games before Vegas worked like stealthy, sneaky, strategy... which was satisfying at times, but not so much as a GUN FIGHTING GAME, which it was.
Vegas threw in JUST the right action wherein you could sneak around to a point, then jump out and ammo-rape a room full of terrorists.

I fell in love with Team Fortress Classic 2 because the mesh of cartoon rules and gun play stimulate me. I was a living cartoon, doing cartoon shit... and that's the best.

Playing the new Call Of Duty online.... at first I felt: "I get why this is a cool FPS, but overall, it's just not my feel."

Then I start using my ears to hear where bad guys are, start checking my radar like a rear view mirror in a car, start thinking about where the rest of the team is, start toying around with map placing...

And it ends me up thinking it's a game I WANT to be good at, just because it incorporates so much logic, thinking, on-your-feet quick time strategy and other senses that make me feel more complete while playing it.

Fuck damn. I want more. I want to be BETTER at that game than I am.
