Back From Orlando.

Back from my trip to Orland with the Music Department.
It was definatly one of the best trips i have ever went on in my life so far. So many inside jokes and good moments. I think my trip was made not just by Disney and Universal Studios but the people who I went with. Alot of my friends went on the trip with me so i think that made my trip such a great experience.

Day 1:
I arrived at school early in the morning around 6 am i believe. I had to check in with my teacher and get my luggage. We all boarded the buses to go to JFK around 7.30 am. After going through the massive line at Jet Blue, i finnaly had made it to security. I didn't get stopped in security, thank god, and had free time to roam the airport to get soem breakfast. I didn't eat anything so i just talked to my friends. The flight went ok except our power went out halfway through. The televisions and the bathrooms were down for the rest of the flight. not good. Anyways after dropping my luggage off at the tiny room since our rooms weren't ready yet, i was on my way to MGM Studios. I went on the major rides there Rockin Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. Both were nice rides. We were required to go to Fantasmic which happened to be a nice show. After waiting for two hours on the bus for my teacher to dismiss us, i took another thirty minutes to find my luggage. It ended up being up in the holding room.

Day 2:
This was a performance day for the Symphonic Band, which i am a member of. The preformance went well, and it was time to go on the rides in Epcot. I liked Epcot, it had nice pavillions from other countries. I went on the major rides here as well. Mission Space, Soarin', Spaceship Earth (which we got stuck on), and Test Track. After going on the rides we just went thorugh the countries, which was fun. The Illuminations Ceremony was a lot of fun. They had a lot of fireworks which lit up the sky. The coolest show at Disney by far.

Day 3:
Another performance day for most and just a parade for me. We went to Downtown Disney to go shopping in the stores and then watch the Wind Ensemble. They played well and i got to buy souveniers for my family. We then departed for Magic Kingdom. After getting of the monorail, we headed toward Poncoccio's for lunch. They had a lot of good food to eat. Then went on some rides, i will just say a lot of them. Then i had to leave to get ready for the parade down mainstreet. After getting ready for the parade, it was time to head down mainstreet. We were the first band to march down and i thought we did well.

Day 4:
Full day at Universal Studios, no performances. My friends and I went on a lot of rides. My favorite was the Mummy. It was an indoor roller coaster which has a plot to it. I heard some people got stuck in the ride for a while. At least it wasnt me because they have a part where the room goes on fire, pretty hot. no pun intended. On ET Adventure ride, we had to give our names for ET to say goodbye at the end. All of my friends said Jody. It was hilarious. We at dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. We had good food and a nice waitress. Somone said it was my friend's birthday so she got free ice cream. This was so funny.

Day 5:
My last day of my trip. I had to pack and get ready for my flight. After breakfast, we all headed to the busses to depart from the airport. My airport group made sure to be first on the check-in line to avoid what happened going to Orlando. The flight was good and our TVs actually worked.

Well that concludes my trip to Orlando.
