"Look," the young woman was saying, one of the agents--Claudia, Kevin remembered, "I'm really sorry about how things turned out with your fiance and everything."
She did sound genuinely sorry, Kevin thought, even if it was somewhere on the magnitude of "oops I scratched your car".
"Uh, don't be." He said, still a little dazed by the whole thing. "I thought she could handle knowing the truth."
And, okay, in hindsight he had to admit to himself that had been a little naive. From the face she pulled, she obviously thought so too.
"Just a newsflash," Claudia offered, in a tone he thought was meant to be helpful, "but as excusing affairs go, being possessed by Oscar Wilde's tie pin isn't a truth a lot of people can handle."
"There was no affair--" He defended with a startled sputter.
"Not for lack of trying," Claudia interrupted, the corners of her mouth turning up a bit. "And trying. And trying... Really, I think Jinks and Micah were kind of flattered. And there's no way I'm letting Pete for get it any time soon

When you're the daughter of Richard Castle, everybody expects you to inherit his talent and imagination. Everybody's always disappointed when your 'What I did this summer' essay isn't worth any hot shot editing company. Yes, I did grow up surrounded by my Dad's world, but all I got from it is knowledge of stages of decomposition and what happens if you drop an ice cube on someone's head from twenty stories high. Not the imagination behind the stories. Maybe I could have been a true Crime Writer, except that would make me feel like a ghoul. So here's me, Alexis Castle, writer of True Disasters, Off Days in the Life of Richard Castle

This made me laugh! 'Kevin Ryan-Esposito'? Brilliant! Would that make Esposito 'Javier Esposito-Ryan'? For some reason I think Esposito would just keep his name as it is.
Hold me? - PG Kevin Ryan suppressed a startled yelp as he was pulled forcefully into a, dark and seemingly empty interrogation room. He was about to put up a struggle when he found himself pressed up against a hard, warm and familiar chest, strong arms wrapping around him.
“Javi what...” he started, concerned.
“Don’t... alright?” Esposito murmured, pressing his nose into the crook of Ryan’s neck and inhaling his partner’s scent “Just... I’m having a bad day.”
“You sure you..?” but Javier interrupted.
“Yeah, I just needed this for a moment.” The tone of his voice told Ryan that had the lights in the room been on, he’d be able to see a tell-tale flush of embarrassment on Esposito’s face.
“Aw baby it’s okay if you just want me to hold you” Ryan chuckled, though it was more Esposito who was doing the holding.
“Shut up!” Esposito grumbled sliding a hand up to cup the nape of his neck as Ryan sighed happily, nose brushing the collar of Esposito’s shirt.

The thing is, Esposito tries to suppress all the domesticness that sometimes crops up when Ryan stays the night. He’s picking up his clothes off the floor, boxers and then socks and then pants and t-shirt and button down, dressing himself in yesterday’s clothes, squinting slightly in the dim almost-dawn light of the room. Sometimes he stays on a Friday, and they don’t always fuck. Sometimes, they stay in and order pizza and drink beer from the store around the corner, staying up too late playing HALO or watching a horror movie that’s more bad than good and more funny than scary

But I still like it, though. I like the idea of the 'good boy' being just a facade. :P

Hey, what wouldn't I give to nuzzle Ryan's neck! He shouldn't feel bad about doing it when he obviously *can*.
