Vet doesn't know what's going on. Can't really do tests. Gave antibiotics as a precaution and we'll see if it makes any difference. I'm going to buy a blood glucose meter, which the vet encouraged, and I'll monitor his blood sugar myself to try to keep it in the 150 to 250 sweet spot and try to get him happier and healthier.
If that doesn't work, he could have kidney disease, which would be treated on a symptomatic level.
He was pretty pathetic at the vet. He didn't even cry in the car, which is insane. He did piss himself twice, but that's par for the course lately. He just laid there and didn't give a shit at the vet's office except when a thermometer was going up his ass and, of course, when they were trying to take blood. When I'm not around he gets violent, which is funny. I don't think it's so much that he could hurt anyone, he's just a struggling, hissing 15 pound cat that's over a foot and a half long from nose to ass. He's not pleasant for anyone to deal with, except me I guess. So, of course, they yet again didn't get blood. Which makes me wonder why I take him, since they can never get urine or blood to test.
We'll see how all that goes.
I say this, then he pisses on the carpet right in front of me, defiantly. I should have just put him to sleep.
