Happy 2004!!

She seemed so excited when she mentioned a cabin in Vancouver for New Years that I couldn't say no. Sure I've lived in this place my whole life but hey I never seem to get sick of it. I was glad she said just a few people and happy I got to finally meet some of her closest friends. Not that I didn't think it would be at least a little uncomfortable at first, being that the four of Them are so close but after a while it was hard not to feel accepted. They have a playful banter between then that’s hard to resisit and to fall into. It was also good getting to know Amy even though she did get to kiss Maggie at midnight instead of me.

A new year, a new beginning. 2003 was one of the hardest and one of the most wonderful. I’m looking foreward to 2004 and spending it with the one person who I want to spend the rest of my years with.

It wasn’t much fun having to leave only a few hours after we brought in the new year but I said goodbye to everyone and headed on a flight to New York. And that’s where I am now.
