Slacking Off......With Good Reason
It's hard to believe that it's been more then a week since Thanksgiving and just about 4 days since I left her again.
Thanksgiving went rather smoothly. I was never sure just when she was going to tell them all but we had decided that she would be the one to announce the engagement. She did it of course during dinner over mashed potatoes and I couldn't have loved her anymore at that moment, just for the looks on everyone faces excluding Jake and her father of course who knew all about it. Except that there was a point I fully expected Jake to soak the entire table when he spit his drink out from laughing but besides that I think all was well. There were many questions to follow but they were all answered as much as possible.
The past week has flown by, time tends to slip away so much quicker when your busy. Sleepless nights are plentiful but I'm making it the best I know how right now.
