Wake up, sleeping Daytona. You sleep, but your blood still flows. I am awake and it feels like my blood is not pumping at all. You sleep so calmly, yet I know your blood is still flowing gloriously, like a mountain stream. It is wonderful. Give me life, Daytona. I am in need... Tell me. Why do you sleep? I think you should never sleep, unless all of your citizens are in slumber. And how often does that happen? Not often, I would say. In fact, I would say never. So I say, wake up, sleeping Daytona. Wake up. Come and enjoy the morning with me. I realize that you will be awake when the sun graces your shores, but I say, until then, wake up... Wake up, sleeping Daytona....
