(no subject)
The one big problem with Vegas is that when you come home you slowly realize how much money you really spent....ughhh
Anyways, if I wrote down our Vegas adventures it would be a big long post and no one would read it. So, here is a Pro/Con list of the major events of the trip:
PROS
* Had no less than 4 rides in a limo the entire trip
* First time I had ever been in a limo
* 2 of the limo rides featured a fully stocked bar
* Starting to drink as soon as we stepped foot in the hotel, before we even checked in
* Spearmint Rhino (for obvious reasons)
* Free lap dances just for being me (duh)
* Converting our hotel sink into an ice bucket for beer
* Peeing in the middle of nowhere in the desert under the cover of night with a beautiful desert backdrop
* Sherri's Ranch (again, for obvious reasons)
* Wandering the strip with my drink of choice and no one thinks anything of it
* Telling Josh about the bachelor party and him cursing his drinking habits because he doesn't remember any of it
* Telling Irene about the bachelor party and seeing her face turn from confused to disgust as she slowly remembers the activities she participated in
* The wedding (of course)
* A MUCH needed nap after the wedding reception
* Finding a few sushi bars playing house/deep house
* Enjoying live music and dancing at an irish bar in NY, NY
* One of the best pulled pork sandwiches I have ever had at the Harley Davidson restaurant
* Being a silly tourist
* Watching the Vegas Grand Prix
* Free drinks at Mist in Treasure Island
* Watching, and making fun of, the movie The Ghosts of Mars
CONS
* Having to get up at 6 am the day I left, with 4 hours of not-so-great sleep, in order to catch our ride to the airport
* The hotel 'securing' their money on my card which ended up screwing with the spending habits the rest of the trip (bank cut me off even though I didn't actually spend anything)
* Getting up with 3 hours sleep on Friday to go to the wedding rehearsal
* Kinda nasty, yet expensive, buffet food
* Getting up (still drunk), with 3 hours sleep and rushing to get ready for the 10am wedding
* Standing in 90 degree heat, still drunk from the night before, in a tux
* Waiting for Josh to finish his 64oz. Pina Colada in the airport before we could go through security
All in all it was a very 'pro' heavy trip. Must do it again!
