yeah so the title says it all. Today I woke up at 7, drove down to rochester to get my MRI and Xrays, went to the wrong building, had to drive some more, got my first set of xrays, they explained the injection process then jabbed about 3 4" needles into my shoulder, hurt like no other, then took another xray. injected the dye for the MRI, then I went to the MR room, the first MRI went fine, but the second one I had to stretch my arm behind my head, and it was honestly the absolute worst pain i have ever felt... so that seemed like it took forever. that was taken care of but my shoulder was just throbbing so we took the films and sat in the parking lot of bd's til my dad showed up, we went inside and ate, and that was pretty much the best part of my day. around 1 we went over to Dr. Samani's and reviewed the films, he said that my capsule in my shoulder has been stretched and possibly torn, and wants to operate. so the surgery is scheduled for November 4, and then post op on the 14th. Basically that means:
~No hunting this year
~No football for the rest of my life
~Maybe ill be back for lacrosse
~Rehab for 4-6 months
~My shoulders going to be sore as heck
~I'm in a sling even after surgery
So nothing good about it, besides the fact that my shoulder should be better. Probably no guit for a while, but who knows. Alright thats all folks.
