I've really, really been slacking on my posting. That'll change, I believe. Mostly because my 360 red-ringed. Luckily, I finished Castlevania: Symphony of the Night minutes beforehand. Speaking of that game, I really loved it but I wasn't ready for it to be over. The end came really apruptly and I wasn't happy about that. However, there's plenty of more stuff for me to find and rooms to explore. You know, when Microsoft gives me back my 360, that is.
Now it's time for your reason for living...
Ryan Holliday's Book Club!
Thanks to all the video games, I was only able to read one book this month. But what a book it was.
-I Am America (And So Can You!) by Stephen Colbert-228 pgs.- I love Colbert. I love his show and his brand of humor. With that being said, you better be a fan if you choose to read this book. This is basically a 228 page long version of his Word of the Day segment, complete with witty little quips in the margins. The book was short, I could have read it in a day if I really put my full attention to it. That's a good thing in this case, though. The premise was wearing a little thin towards the end but it cut off just in time. So, if you love Colbert, you'll love this book. Hell, if nothing else it includes a built-in ribbon bookmark and stickers.
Monthly Page Count: 228 pages.
Year to Date Count: 6995 pages.
Waaaay behind schedule. This is going to be a busy month, too. The 12 Stones concert, the UK-UT game, Ring of Honor in Dayton, and working more often at the gym. If I make my goal, I'll be surprised but I'll give it a good try.
