Monday morning musings
Good morning, everybody.
I'm a little sad this morning. Mom was here for the weekend and she left this morning when I went to work. It was so very wonderful to see her! We went on a tour downtown and out to the beach and sat around relaxing and watching TV and enjoying each other's company. I enjoyed it a lot. And now she's gone back down to Orlando to catch up with Dad and go to the conference they're attending. It'd've been nice if Dad could have made it up, too, but he had obligations at the conference.
So I'm a little homesick for my Mom now that she's gone. I love my momma.
In other news, I fell climbing the stairs to work again today. Stupid wedge sandals . . . . I've done that twice now.
Justin's family lands in town on Thursday. Three and a half days of peace left.
And there's a marshmallow Peep on top of the water cooler over near the engineers. I really want to stick that thing inside the cooler. It's not like it'd melt or anything. The little guy would just bob around in there until the water ran out. It'd be hilarious!!
I have an optometrist appointment this afternoon. I'm excited. I'ma get new glasses!
I've had one cup of coffee already this morning. I think I'm gonna go back for another one before my 9:30 meeting. Is that bad?
