(no subject)
Wonky Business.
I have no idea what I'm going to do for a halloween costume. Meg and I went to a halloween place in Nashua, NH and shit was wayyyy too damned expensive. I mean there were some kind of cool things, but man, way too expensive.
It doesn't help that I really don't have a good idea of what I actually /want/ for a costume. I have a couple ideas I'm throwing around, but I really don't care to spend too much money.
Last year I went as a "future farmer" with some nice overalls (which I got and never have had a reason to wear besides this) and a bright florescent yellow shirt.
I am regretting shaving my face lately. I'm working on growing in a full beard, but I look like a scruffy goof at the moment. I am constantly going to pull at my (lack of) moustache at the moment as well, and feel sad when I cannot. But alas, it'll be back in time. A couple more weeks and it will be set in. Until then though, I get to enjoy being a scruffy fuck. (Of note: I can't honestly remember the last time I fully shaved my face. I know it was over 3 years ago. So it's been awhile. I can say I honestly prefer myself with facial hair at this point.)
Work tomorrow morning. Wish I had Friday nights to go do stuff sometimes, but working pretty much a half day Saturday is nice.
I'd still like to find some form of a part time job. But it's being pretty wonky at the moment, and haven't heard back from either of the book stores yet. I plan on calling them both on Monday, but we'll see. I'm going to spend some time this weekend shooting out some other applications. Would love to find something like 3 days a week for a few hours or so just as supplemental income.
Had leftovers tonight. Made an awesome dinner last night that I talked about on facebook and don't feel like retyping. ( http://www.facebook.com/brinec ).
