In Search Of...
I love music. I don't play an instrument. I don't sing. Though I have a very good sense of rhythm and can pick up steps very quickly, I will never be the incredible dancer or skater I had always hoped I would be. I took up vidding largely due to my love of music and a near desperate need to find a way to celebrate it using my own creativity. Every once in a while, a song will hit me so hard, it takes my breath away. Many of those songs eventually became vids. Others have simply enjoyed a permanent place on my 'Assorted current faves' Ipod playlist. They never get old. They never get boring. They are a weird, eclectic bunch of random tracks, stretching from classical to metal. Madokaru Mieru, Snuff, White Balloons, Here Comes the King, Wonders of the New World, Bring Me to Life, Prayer, Dark Chest of Wonders, Scheherazade... It's a full list, but not an overly huge one.
That said, I'm feeling restless and itchy for something new. It's been a while since a piece of music has knocked me on my ass, and I'm getting desperate. I've been scrounging around iTunes, Pandora, Amazon...using all sorts of 'if you like this, try this' tricks and to no avail. I need something mind blowing. Life changing. And I can't find it. It's driving me freakin nuts.
