To Embrace My Inner Stalker Or Not....
So it turns out that Cote de Pablo will be filming a segment of EXTRA this Thursday at The Grove in Los Angeles. The taping is at 9:30 a.m., which means that I'd have to be up and out the door by 5:30 in order to beat weekday commuter traffic. I have patients scheduled for 4:00 p.m. that day, which means I'd have to be back in San Diego no later than 3:00. I also have dinner plans and theater tickets for that evening, so it's not like I can get off work, go home and crash.
So, the cons:
Likely to be about 6 hours of driving (alone) for about an hour of gratification
The cost of a tank of gas
Could possibly end up buried in a crowd of people with limited visibility, even with my new super lens
A VERY LONG DAY complete with an early wake-up, lots of driving, still needing to come into work for about 2 hours, after work plans and a late bedtime
The potential for intense ridicule as my non-fandom friends and my husband try to wrap their brains around my actions
The pros:
