prom was awsome! i had so much fun!!
wednesday:
*ash picked me up from ms. macy's and we got our nails done.
*picked up Sarah, got all of our stuff, and went to ash's house to spend the night
*Watched anime till at least 1, wasn't really sure that time...
thursday:
*woke up around 9:30 or so. went to BoRicks for hair appointment. they didn't have us written down even though we made the appointment, but they were cool and took care of us anyway.
--my hair reminded me of my irish dancing days. oh the curls...*shudder*--
*ran up to 12 oaks to get make up done. split up and went to three different stands in order to get done sooner.
*ate at the Lifestyle Food Court
--mmm...Japanese....--
*picked up the Crossages and Boutaneirs.
*went back to ash's and changed into our dresses.
--ash was medieval, sarah was victorian, and i was modern day--
*waited for Arthur to come in the limo, then -almost- all piled in. sarah couldnt ride with us...
PROM!!
*Arthur nearly had a heart attack in the limo 'cause he forgot the tickets.
*we get inside and he's still spazing as we wait in line. he's jumping at any and all sudden movements. it was pretty funny.
*we get up there, ash and i take care of the lack of tickets thing, and we're in. see arthur? it wasn't that big of a deal, just leave everything to me ^.~
*we get a table at the far corner, and practically have to shoo people away with our high heels for the whole first half.
*get our pictures taken with Focal Point. need to pick those up later...
*DANCIN' THE NIGHT AWAY!!
We left early to go go-karting/put put golfing in our dresses, but neither were open. so we just had him drive around for a while as we watched "how to lose a guy in 10 days" in the back. our driver got out of the car and picked up some alcohol at a liquire store for himself. then, he stopped at kroger to pee. we all said we should get out of the car and steal his booze from the trunk, but decided against it.
we had to stop by Ash's work to see her mom. then we went to rams horn. i got a strawberry milkshake ^-^ and stole Ricky's salad, which i ate without a fork or any other kind of utensil...
we went to our respective houses, and i ran in to say hi to arthur's mom, since he said she wanted to see me, and i still looked the same as i did hours earlier...unfortunately, she didn't seem too thrilled to see me, and had this kindov "wtf-are-you-doing-in-my-house?!" look on her face...so yea, i left.
today, i picked up a copy of the police report from the accident, and we went to look at my dad's explorer at the tow yard. it REALLY isn't that bad. from what i can see of it, it didn't even reach the engine, the turn signal was at least still intact (after we just got it out of the shop for that one...) and the bumper and front wheel were a little messed up. i had a lot more force than the other car (dodge neon, just found out today) had, and kept moving forward, so it reduced the amount of damage to my car greatly and basically rolled off of it.
i went to the eye doctor today, they took a picture of my retina, weird as hell, i was blinded in each eye for a while, and could simulate mitosis when i closed my eyes, which was sweet. i got contact lenses and was taught how to put them on and take them off. basically, you poke your eye to put them in, and you pinch it to take them off. easy. the best part? i got to wear a pair home!! i have another appointment scheduled for next saturday to see if i still like them and they're comfortable. score...
it gets better: i'm not sure how many of you i told before, by my mom and i were thinking of fostering greyhounds-fresh off the track-for a while. it's mainly to try to get them used to living in a house, rather than at the racetrack. after that, they get adopted, and we get new dogs. HOW GREAT IS THAT!? and better YET? they're coming TOMORROW!! omg, i'm so ecstatic about this, i can't wait. if anyone wants to come see them, you're welcome to, but for the first few days, they're gonna be completely terrified, so it'd be best if there wasn't a bunch of strange people running around, and yes, you people are all strange if you're talking to me! ^.~
well, i think i wrote PLENTY for today. i'm tired, so i'm gonna go to bed. night stink stinks...
