Het and slash await for the Gundam Wing, Bleach, and Harry Potter fandoms. I wrote all of these in about the span of two hours this night.
My first attempt at drabbles, which I liberally estimated to be 150 words long at most.
Gundam Wing
Pairings mentioned are 1xR (Heero x Relena), 1x2 (Heero x Duo), 4xM (Trowa x Midii), and 1xM (Heero x Midii). Angst, WAFF, fluff, humor, G to PG-13.
Disclaimer: I own nothing, I regret nothing.
Fly Away, Angel
This is the result of the Imani Coppola song Raindrops From The Sun (Hey Hey Hey) and too many happy endings.

He didn’t kneel. On the contrary, he shifted awkwardly from one leg to another while haltingly grinding out words in between assessing looks.
The woman he spoke to pretended not to lean against the cubicle wall for support. She gave a blunted sound that signified an affirmative.
It was over in less than half a minute, maybe less, but then again Relena was never good at numbers.
Relena didn’t even have time to think about whether or not it was a good idea for any of them. She merely accepted there was nothing to do, crossed her legs, and went back to her work before her heart could match the bleeding of her pen.
Subsequently, Heero and Midii’s engagement was announced later that afternoon.
Patience, My Dear, Patience
I wouldn’t like to be either of them, but I can understand where they’re coming from. Title is a line from Disney’s Robin Hood.

Trowa smiled.
He knew she would yell at him when he came in the door, yell at him when she hurt, yell at him when he hurt.
She would wear all his least favorite colors on purpose.
She would yowl off-key through his favorite movies to distract him.
She would spend as much money as possible on trivial items.
He would keep smiling quietly, waiting for her, waiting for her, always waiting for her.
Finally she would give in, scream at him in frustration that he was so Goddamn patient, say she had no choice, say she trusted no one, and then finally, go silent.
He would stop smiling. She would then do things with her body that would make him smile again.
He and Midii had a beautiful relationship.
Por Que?
I just don’t think any of them had a regular, gym-teacher given, humiliation-filled health class.

He didn’t understand. They kept changing, and somehow defied the laws of physics. He tried to get closer looks to assess the structures, but felt sweaty and uncomfortable if he was caught or imagined himself as being caught staring.
But then they would go from perky circles to tantalizing slopes in one day, and he couldn’t help but wonder.
Dr. J had given him everything from dancing lessons to detailed etiquette books, but had never bothered to explain the curves of the fairer sex.
But Heero liked a challenge.
And when Relena found out he had no idea of the whats and hows and whys and wheres of her braziers or lack thereof, she too liked the challenge.

She was amused and mostly indifferent about the whole thing, but by the time Kevin of all people came up to ask if Duo was single, she had enough.
“Go ask him yourself,” she’d snap. And add, “No, not you, Kevin,” as an afterthought.
Besides, Duo had mentioned more than once that the secretary on the third floor was pretty, so she was pretty positive he wouldn’t like Kevin. Not positive, but pretty positive.
It was when the harassed-looking Gundam pilot rambled up to her and mentioned how he’d rather spend quiet evenings or fun-filled lunches with a certain someone rather than date the secretary and Kevin combined, Hilde was positive.
Three years later, Kevin at least got to be named one of the Godparents.
Would You Still Call Me Superman?
The Gundams must have seemed so mythical and legendary to the people who saw what they did, that it probably seemed like some of them had superpowers. Title from the 3 Doors Down song Kryptonite.

“He’s good,” he promised, with a shifty look in his eye and a slouch that was a telltale sign of nervousness.
Hilde would sigh, say she’d think about it, conveniently forget to, and be just as defensive the second time around Duo would ask.
But it got worse, and Duo started using the puppy eyes. “He’s good,” he would promise, repeat, plead, pray, announce, and sing.
In all honesty, Hilde didn’t care if the guy could fix a car with nothing but telekinesis; she was very uneasy about having not just one but two Gundam pilots in the house.
“He’s good.”
And when she saw how Duo reveled in Heero’s presence by being helpful around the house and making the frozen corners of 01’s mouth quirk up, she chuckled and admitted that as long as he kept Duo happy she still didn’t give a damn about if he had telekinesis.
Cooler Than The Red Dress
I have a fetish for poor Heero having no idea what do to with Relena and her “odd lumps of fat in strange places.” ←quote from Sore Thumbs by a Dandy Title taken from the Sugababes song Cooler Than The Red Dress.

He had faced down Leos.
Mobile dolls.
Treize.
Duo.
Zechs.
Himself.
But he had never faced down a woman in high-heels.
He sensed he should be manly and commanding, but he couldn’t help but stare nervously at the long and black expanse of lace that snaked across her frame and ended in enthralling silver spikes which seemed no problem for her to walk on. He stood stock-still, waiting for her to reveal herself somehow.
Truly, she was a mystery.
A mystery that had an unstoppable look in her eye and a mystery that was advancing rapidly toward him.
A mystery with- ooh, that felt damn great-
The next day Relena was puzzled by Heero’s new vow to read as many detective novels as possible.
Bleach
Pairings mentioned are Ichigo x Rukia, Ishida x Ichigo, Renji x Byakuya.
A Picnic A Day Keeps The Ghosts Away
I know the story isn’t over yet, and I usually ship slash, but I just love them together.

It was almost funny, she thought to herself, that she never knew how it all was going to end. She thought her life stretched out before her as a linear and duty-filled existence as a Shinigami. Then she thought she was unerringly aligned with a boy who stood out too much and hit things more than necessary in his own way of fighting for what they both believed in.
And now everyone could die.
She furrowed her eyebrows unattractively and glanced over at him. He looked back at her, half-smiling and half-terrified.
She hit him. That oughtta teach him for making her the happiest woman on Earth.
Ukitake walked past the two of them and wondered how Orihime would react when she found out Ichigo and Rukia occasionally ate lunch together in her absence.
Sight-Seeing
I know the story isn’t over yet, but I just love the idea of a crush between the two blossoming into something else.

Ichigo stared and scratched his head.
Mizuiro and Keigo huddled in the corner and wondered how long it would be until Ichigo broke the silence and bluntly asked what was going on.
Ichigo kept staring.
He stared and stared and stared and his eyebrows furrowed and furrowed and furrowed and Mizuiro and Keigo cringed and cringed and cringed until-
“HEY.”
Renji started, looked up from the papers Byakuya had handed him, and almost managed to insult Ichigo, until Ichigo averted his eyes, scowled, and stuffed a pair of movie tickets in Renji’s face.
“You said he wanted to see the sights. See why this place is important. And you- you- you’re, you know, take them.”
Renji stared for a second longer, then smirked, as he ran to catch Byakuya before there would be any more lost chances.
Five, Six, Nine, Or Ten
I know the story’s not over, but I could never ship Ishida/Renji. This was inspired by 1234 by Feist.

Uryuu could feel his irritation solidify into crawling demons beneath his skin. He grit his teeth, adjusted his glasses far too roughly, and grunted something that was meant to be tough-sounding.
Renji briefly glanced at him, casually adjusted his Zanpakuto, and then went back to staring moodily ahead.
He was familiar. That scowl, that attitude, that ambition, that kindness. It was too familiar. Ishida hated that familiarity.
But Renji would never have Ichigo’s bright orange hair, and for that, Uryuu was willing to tolerate such an imposter.
Or maybe it wasn’t Ichigo’s hair.
Whatever it was, Uryuu thought, as he adjusted his glasses for the 13th time, it was enough.
It was far too much, but he would accept it anyway, and hope for a day when it would somehow become the most.
Only for Ichigo would he wait.
Harry Potter
Pairings mentioned are Sninny and Twincest. Or the latter can be taken as platonic brotherly love.
The Most Pretentious Thing
I couldn’t stand how cliché Ginny was by the end. This makes me feel better about her. The title is from Paralyzer by Finger Eleven.

She hadn’t always been a role model or a victim.
There was once, once in her hectic and torn and normal and confusing and hazy and suffocating and fiery childhood, that she really understood the concept of feelings.
For a brief week, she smiled at him, and watched him almost cry when he tried not to smile back. He hated the way she was half-good at Potions, hated the way she was too developed for her age, hated the way she was achingly familiar and would never be Lily and would always be just as out of reach as Lily was. She hated how he had snappy rebuttals, hated how he was familiarly the odd-one out, and hated herself for not really hating any of it.
She found out he died, and decided that having her child bear his name, even if preceded by Albus, would be deliciously ironic.
Betwixt
I think if I had a twin, nothing would ever come close to them.

I don’t look in the mirror.
I don’t think she ever noticed that I don’t, and even on my wedding day, the only time I ever saw my reflection was the wedding photos I barely glanced at in order to not see his head and body- or is it me?
He would never have forgiven me.
He would always forgive me.
So now I look at his face all over again, with the fascination of watching a train-wreck that only you have the power to stop.
I loved him and he died, and now he is reborn, and now I will not touch him.
So I pretend not to hear Fred ask his mother why I never toss the old Quaffle around with him.
Real Life
Who knows.

She would have scraped her nails across a chalkboard.
She would have fled the country.
She would have punched the next person to belittle her.
She would have remained silent and miserable but survive.
She did none of the above.
She has listened to him snore, whistle, shout, sing, schmooze.
She has completed the household chores.
She has turned her hatred inwards and stayed stationary on the surface.
She has remained silent and miserable and had not survived.
I am way too lazy to post these to FF.net and Blissful Ignorance. *goes off to bed*
