real life and Damn Skippy
Well, we seem to keep running into a few setbacks, but I’m still epic jazzed to be getting Damn Skippy up and running again; the postcards rageai is putting together are amazingly awesome. XDD Hopefully with some hard work we’ll be up and running by Botcon, and then we can relax and slow the pace a little. After tomorrow, I’ve got three days in a row off from rl job, and I’m really looking forward to diving headlong back in and getting some stuff done. I’m way more excited about this than I ever was at the prospect of any other job I’ve held; it’s not hard to see the allure of being your own boss, despite the amount of work that inevitably goes into it. It’s both stressful and enjoyable, and a whole lot more interesting than toeing someone else’s company line.
When I got halfway through my business major, I started wondering what in the world I could possibly do with it. I got into this major with the idea of focusing on computer information systems, and that is my area of concentration, but I have since discovered that I love studying business. The problem lies in the fact that there are so slagging many different directions to go in, and I’ve been beginning to worry that, even after all of these college courses, I’m not really qualified to pursue any of them. But this…I love this.
I apologize to anyone still waiting for me to start posting fic again-I will. I’ve got quite a few things that really aren’t all that far from finished, including the next chapter of LM, stored away on my hard drive. It’ll probably be after Botcon before I post anything, though, because until then I’m going to be working like my aft’s on fire. XDD
