First Kiss

Summary: The issue of Pi's first kiss and how Toma's possessive... in his own way, that is.

Pairing: Tomapi, mentions of Akame, Pin friendship

A/N: Just depressed after stumbling over some info that said Pi's first kiss with a guy was accidently with Jin during some rehearsal.  So scribbled this out to appease myself.  First JE fanfic ever so my characterization... ^_^;;  And all the random references that kept pouring out for no good reason... gargh!

“But really, was I really your first kiss?” Jin exclaimed, shoving Yamapi roughly when he didn’t get an immediate reply.

Yamapi sighed, trying to ignore his best friend as he picked on this topic yet again. You’d think he’d get over it after four years but then again, it was Bakanishi they were talking about.

“Yes. My first guy kiss. Stop making me re-live the thought of it now,” Yamapi said, giving a mock shiver as he pulled out his phone and began to check his messages.

“Stop doing that!”

“Doing what?” Pi asked, deleting the spam first.

“Ignoring me.”  He smiled mockingly at Jin’s scowl without lifting an eye off his phone.

“Anyway, how can I seriously believe that I’m your first guy kiss?” Jin asked, picking through his lunch tray to see if there were any fries left. Maru and Koki had gone out of the Jimusho to get take-out and he’d successfully pouted Maru into giving away the McDonalds’ fries he’d come back with. And who said KAT-TUN didn’t have enough member-ai? Just because they weren’t all over each other like News or Arashi…

Pi sighed, shoving his trash-laden lunch tray further onto the table after it came close to having an intimate meeting with his pants thanks to Jin meddling with his own tray.  “C’mon, remember, Jin.  You were the slutty one and I was the innocent, uncorrupted junior. So what makes you think I’d have had experience in kissing guys?”

“Innocent and uncorrupted, my ass!” Jin snorted, abandoning his search of fries to point an amused finger at Pi. “Who was the one who auditioned because he was lusting over Takki? You two were always together and there were those glomps and hugs everywhere! How come there was never any lip-on-lip contact?”

Yamapi blushed, leaving his phone alone to give Jin a shove. “I told you never to speak about that crush! You know I got over that in a few months and Takki… is honestly like… a Papa to me. And even you should have the brain capacity to remember who Takki was with then.” Brushing aside Jin’s affronted look, he continued. “Do you really think that anything would have happened, that I would even blip on Takki’s radar with both Subaru and Tsubasa around?”

Jin actually looked contemplative at that. “Fine. Not Takki.”

“Not anybody,” Pi interrupted, returning to replying to Kei that yes, he’d eaten something and no, it was not just a salad and a protein shake. He briefly wondered if he should start typing out his next Jweb entry. Looking at Jin open his mouth in the periphery, he sighed and put it off. Who knew what Jin would come up with next that would require his concentration?

“What about Kame?” Jin asked, folding his arms and giving Pi a challenging look.

“What about Kame?” Pi asked, uninterested and having an eerie bad sense about where this was going.

“Nothing happened during Nobuta wo Produce? You seriously didn’t kiss Kame? Not even a peck? I mean what about when he smiled? You know… that smile that makes his eyes light up and all you do is want to kiss him, long and hard and…”

Pi looked at the table’s direction and wondered if hitting his head against it repeatedly would kill him and spare him from this. “Jin, three things. One, Nobuta was after that rehearsal. Two, I’m not you. Three, do you want me to kiss Kame?”

Cutting off his dreamy look at once, Jin narrowed his eyes and glared at Pi. “Keep your hands to yourself! Don’t you even dare!”

“I won’t. Don’t worry,” Pi replied, raising his hands in mock surrender before turning his attention to typing a long message to Yuu on how the Bakanishi needed to be locked up in a room with Kame sometime very soon because they must have had a fight and Jin was in denial again about his desperate need for Kame and that just made him stupider than usual which was really bad for the people he hung out with, namely them.

Jin stopped flaring up enough to calm down and remember what he had been going on about before the topic of Kame had sprung up. Wasn’t there any other guy Pi was close to back then? Revelation struck.

“Toma! You seriously can not have not kissed Toma!” The phone nearly fell out of Pi’s hands. For the sake of his precious beloved, Pi shot Jin a glare and placed the inanimate love-of-his-life away.

“I didn’t!” Pi hissed, throwing a quick glance over his shoulder at the Johnny’s cafeteria. Everyone seemed busy in their own thing but you never knew. Eyes roaming, he caught sight of Tegoshi and Ueda watching Junno and Massu have an eating contest, Chinen trying to sneak closer to Ohno without having Nino notice and Ryo being noogied by Subaru who was egged on by the rest of his band. Pi gave a half wave to Ryo who was attempting to throw his leader off while shouting at the rest of Eito who had come into Tokyo for a recording.

He then turned back, satisfied that there wasn’t anybody close enough to overhear or care, and grabbed Jin’s collar, bringing his face close. “Shut up, Jin or-”

A light seemed to turn on in Jin’s head, his eyes widening with realization. “You really didn’t.”

Wow. Pi, amazed that Jin could understand even that fast, loosened his hold. “Yes, that’s what I’ve been try-” He was cut off by Jin.

“You wanted him to, didn’t you?” Jin asked, shoving the shell-shocked Pi’s hand off and reaching for his coke. Taking a looong slurp in vain, Jin sighed and put it back on the table.

“But it’s a wonder how you guys never got on to that with you two always doing rabu-rabu stuff. I mean you’ve never ever sent me a heart emoji! Still!”

Pi’s face reddened, resembling the tomato he had picked at in his salad. Jin didn’t stop. “And we’ve never had baths together!” He eyed Pi’s half finished coke and swiped it before Pi could realize.

“We’ve been to the onsen together,” Pi muttered.

“That’s not the same and you’ve been to the onsen with everyone,” Jin said, taking a satisfying sip. “You wouldn’t even wash my back and you know I couldn’t reach it back then! But you went and had baths with Toma in a bath tub!”

“I-uh-they were showers only,” Pi stated in his defence.

“And, and you never borrowed my gym clothes! Not even that time you stayed over with me. We’ve never worn the same shirt in our dramas.”

“I’ve borrowed other clothes of yours, baka. Have you been checking out fan forums again?” Yamapi asked suspiciously.

Jin ignored Pi’s comments and continued on. “You were saving yourself for him to act, weren’t you? No wonder you threw such a big fit after that rehearsal. And you always have that ring on, both of you!” He pointed at the chain which hung on Pi’s neck.

Pi snorted at that, pointing out Jin’s hypocrisy. “Yeah, just like a pinky ring I know you keep under your pillow and like to look at every night before you sleep.”

“Shut up!” Jin exclaimed, his turn to go on the defensive. “That’s different. I don’t want Kame to be my first guy kiss.”

Pi just gave him a look. “What?” Jin asked stuffily.

“And who exactly was your first guy kiss?”

Jin had the decency to blush at that, a half-formed ‘Kame’ on his lips dying to another “Shut up! And why didn’t you just kiss Toma first when you had the chance?”

No reply as Pi pouted at the table. Jin blabbered on, too engrossed in his rant to sense his best friend’s depressed mood.

“God, no wonder you threw a sulk fit after that Hana Kimi episode came out. And then Toma’s first guy kiss was Mr. Twelve Takes!” Jin stated, finishing up Pi’s drink.

“Actually, no.” Jin spat out whatever he’d drank. Eyes wide, he swivelled around to see a smiling Toma. Pi had a look of horror on his face, most probably wondering how much Toma had heard.

“Eh… no, what?” Jin stuttered.

Toma grinned happily, cheeks lifting up happily in a grin. “Hey Yamashita! Jin, it feels like it’s been ages since I’ve seen you! Oh, I meant nope, my first kiss with a guy wasn’t with Shun.”

“Uh- uh-” Jin didn’t know whether he should be embarrassed to be caught talking about it or not but curiosity won. “Then who was it?”

Pi seemed to pick himself up, body tensing as he waited to know. Toma continued to smile. “I was in a group with three members of Arashi, you know. And they really haven’t changed much since then.”

Jin choked. But-but Arashi member-ai was legendary, if for nothing else than their little night outs that had them all limping back the next day in a very suspicious manner. He swivelled his head around to where Nino was feeding Ohno his food with his mouth and how Jun was cutting up Aiba’s food while Sho kept him busy because no one trusted Aiba with a knife. And that was on the surface. God knew what was going on beneath the table! If Toma meant what he had just meant, then who knew which one it was who had stolen Toma’s lips’ virginity. Jin personally hedged his bets on Matsujun. There had to be a reason a guy like that was so nice to Toma!

“And Kouichi-san and Tsuyoshi-san used to personally interview all their back dancers, you know? Kouichi still takes a look into SHOCK auditions sometimes. Oh, and don’t even get me started on Jimmy and his kiss obsession!”

Pi blanched, heart sinking. “And then Tsubasa and I really wanted our performance to look real at his first concert. So we did practice a lot to know how real it could be so that we would know just how real to make it in the show.”

They both stared at Toma in disbelief. Jin could almost see Pi’s heart crumpling itself over and over, his eyes wide. Toma just continued to smile as he talked on about how his manager had called him in to discuss this month’s plans and how he hadn’t been in the dressing room  when Toma had arrived so he’d just come into the cafeteria to check.

“Ah, and just so you know, Yamashita,” Toma said, as he was about to leave. Pi looked up, eyes wide, tongue choking itself, unable to move on from the shock of what Toma had just said and what he should have known. “Remember that time we got drunk for the first time after the Kinki Kids concert?”

Pi nodded, forcing himself to let some words through his mouth. “W-we stole the drinks after Tsuyoshi-san passed out.”

Toma grinned, leaning down and into Pi’s face. “I never told you but you’re worse than Sano you know.”

“Huh?” was Pi’s dumbfounded reply.

“You kissed me that day.”

Pi’s eyes widened, popping out and Jin’s mouth dropped. Everything was silent. The whole cafeteria seemed to be frozen; even Massu chomping on a burger in the distance seemed to come to a stop.

Toma continued, oblivious. “And quite a few times after that actually. I just thought you were a kissaholic when you got drunk but it never happened when we were with other people so I thought it was a best friend thing… but maybe that wasn’t just it. So Tomo-chan…”

Pi gasped, the sound muffled by the slow press of lips against his. “I’ve always been your first kiss and since we got drunk yesterday, I’d say your last too!”

And then he bounded away as Pi melted into his chair, reeling from the kiss.

Jin turned around slowly, incredulously at Pi. “You never kissed me when you were drunk! Aren’t we best friends?”
