Yamada Ryosuke, the top idol in entertainment industry, the centre of most popular boy band, Hey Say Jump and every girls in entire world would dying to be this cute idol’s girlfriend. But Ryosuke is professional, never once thought to be in love with someone as he more in love with his career.
Now he is busier with his single debut, the theme song for his new dorama, PV making for his out coming single album. At crucial time like this, his best friend, Nakajima Yuto always supporting him and he really appreciate that about Yuto. And what more surprising, Yuto will play as co-actor in his new PV “Moonlight” together with Kawaguchi Haruna. Yuto will act as third person in triangle love between Ryosuke and Haruna. Haruna and Ryosuke have collaborated together in his new dorama and now in his PV. They will become close friend in no time, which what Ryosuke thought.
“Sugoi ne~ we got to act together in your PV. This is first time only two JUMP members involved. I’m looking forward to it!” said Yuto while walking beside Ryosuke towards their houses. Still walking home together with Yuto really makes Ryosuke feel at peace.
“Nn! Ore mo!” he answered with a bright smile which Yuto will never got enough of it no matter how many times he saw that smile.
“Yama-chan! Tomorrow, let work hard together ne!” Yuto said while they already reached Ryosuke’s house.
“Mochiron!” He replied raising his thumb before he walked inside the house. To be together with Yuto in his new PV without other JUMP members somehow made him feel nervous…

Ryosuke and Yuto arrived at the shooting location in the morning for the PV’s line story shooting. Ryosuke will shoot the dancing part tomorrow. Once Ryosuke step out from the van, all he can see was sakura trees are everywhere and the wind blowing the sakura petals just make it a perfect, beautiful scene.
“Outdoor shooting in spring is the best, right?” he asked while looking up at the blue sky and inhaling a deep breath. Without answering, Yuto just smile at Ryosuke, agreeing what he just said.
Not long after that, Haruna arrived, after greeting session, they get prepared to start the shooting.
In the afternoon, they are taking a break for a while. Ryosuke, and Yuto are sitting beside each other and talking about their shooting. Haruna is still talking with the director at the back, nodding for few times, maybe the director giving her some advice.
“Gosh! That was so hard!” I never thought acting lovey-dovey with a girl could be this difficult!” said Ryosuke while leaning back on the chair.
“Heehh…That because this is the first time you act like this with a girl ne~ but you acting still looks good you know. As expected from a talented actor,” said Yuto.
“Honto ni? Arigatou ne, Yuto-kun! But your acting was better than me. You played a boyfriend role in your new dorama deshou? You are more experienced to this”, he said while pouting.
“Maa…I still have a lot more to learn,” blushing Yuto placing his right hand on the back of his head, scratching it even though it’s not itchy.
From far, blushing Yuto was caught by Haruna’s eyes. How happy she is to breath in the same air with Yuto right now. Yes. Haruna admired Yuto since long time ago. His heights, his voice, how cool he is when playing drum, his interest in photography, all of them just makes her heart raced when she thinks about it. It’s not that she didn’t admired Ryosuke, it just Yuto is more like her type. A type of guy she would die for.
“Are you listening to me?” asked director when he saw Haruna who look aside and smiling by herself.
“Ahh…hai! Sumimasen!,” The director’s voice shocked Haruna and bring her back to reality.
At the other side, Ryosuke and Yuto are enjoying their break time and still talking. Once they don’t know what to talk about anymore Yuto lay back, resting his head a bit while placing his right elbow on the edge of the chair back, straighten out one of his leg and facing the sky. “I think I’ll sleep for few minutes, okay?” and Ryosuke just nodded.
Yuto closed his eyes and letting himself drowned by the sakura petals flying around him. Ryosuke is facing away form Yuto not until he saw beautiful white butterfly flying in the crowd of the petals and his eyes following where it flies.
Like in a shoujo manga, the butterfly flying down towards Yuto’s face and settled down on his bangs while Yuto still closing his eyes…sleeping peacefully. The butterfly which on Yuto’s bangs is flapping its wings slowly. Open…close…open…close, revealing the pattern on its wings. Ryosuke eyes focused on the butterfly at first but his sight then moving down from the butterfly’s wings, to hair bangs beneath its unseen tiny many legs, keep moving down to Yuto’s closed eyes, his nose and lastly his pink lips. His lip is so…kissable.
It was a very beautiful sight for Ryosuke’s eyes. When is the last time he examine every inch of Yuto’s face? Why just now he realized Yuto has become this handsome and yet beautiful? Is it because of the butterfly?
Suddenly, Yuto opened his eyes. He raised his head a bit when the butterfly flied away without he noticed it. Seeing the butterfly flied away startled Ryosuke back to his conscious. His heart beat so fast and he felt his face is burning. He quickly faced away from Yuto.
“Are? How long I’ve been sleeping?” Yuto asked while rubbing his eyes.
“S-saa…” Ryosuke answered titled his head. To be honest, if he was to answer Yuto’s question, he will say it felt like forever…
“Ne…Yuto-kun, after this would you like to come to my place? We don’t have anymore practice with JUMP after shooting,” Ryosuke asked after he calmed down from ‘who knows why the heck his heart beat so fast just now’ and tried to ignore everything. There are lots more things he want to talk and share with Yuto especially when they are in this together. Yuto also feels the same way. He want to hear all his best friend’s complaining and whining how difficult his role today but still Ryosuke did his best play out the role pretty well. This side of him he really admired most. Before he can answer ‘Yes’ to the older’s invitation, a pair of white, slender arms wrapping Yuto’s neck from behind.
“Yuuto-kuunn~” Haruna called playfully while resting her chin on Yuto’s shoulder. Haruna’s action made Yuto gasped in surprised and he just…speechless! While Ryosuke…his eyes opened wide and his mouth is half opened…shocked and his heart sting. Huh? Sting? Why on earth he feels like that? Just after he tried to ignore everything he felt earlier and now this? He quickly shook his head and gently hitting his chest few times hoping the sting will disappear. Yuto who caught Ryosuke’s weird behavior just frowned. What’s wrong with him today? Just now he felt like his eyes was deceiving him sawing Ryosuke’s cheek burned red right after he woke up from his sleep.
“Arigatou ne, you’ve been helping me a lot in my acting today!” she said.
“I-iie, kochira koso,” Yuto added while blushing so hard until his face turning so red like tomato. Forgetting what he’s worried about Ryosuke just now.
“Yuto kawaiii~” she said while smiling widely. No one knows how much she had gathered her courage while walking toward Yuto just now. Thinking what should she do to get his attention.
Meantime Ryosuke just pray in his heart that Haruna will move her hands of Yuto’s neck. How long she gonna stay in that position? He admit that during the shooting he saw Yuto and Haruna getting closer as she always seek for Yuto’s advise and Yuto happily giving his so-callled-advise. He thought and he feels annoyed.
“Aaahhh…kimochii…” Ryosuke let out a big sigh after he bounced himself on the bed. Today shooting was so tiring and difficult. When he closed his eyes and tried to sleep the ‘butterfly scene’,’ Yuto and Haruna scene’ keeps repeating in his mind. He shook his head hard and rolled to the other side of the bed. “Yuto-kun no baka” the words came out form his mouth softly before he closed his eyes tight and hoping to forget everything once he wake up tomorrow.

It’s been a few days since the PV shooting finished and JUMP member are having their dance practice. Chinen came in the practice room while holding water bottle in right hand and the other holding a magazine. Chinen walking towards Yuto with a big grin.
“Yuto! Yuto! Look at this! It’s all about you and Kawaguchi-san written here!” Chinen said while showing the magazine to Yuto.
“Eh? Maji de?”He looks at the magazine closer to confirm and it is true there was an article about Ryosuke new PV promotion but the article pointed out more about Haruna and his chemistry.
“Eh? Nani? Nani?”, Hikaru joining Yuto and Chinen excitedly. In a moment, other JUMP members all gathering around Yuto, interested to know what are written in the magazine. Except Ryosuke of course, he continue practicing his steps showing his emotionless expression. Yuto tried to sneak a peek to the older who is busy dancing.
“Maybe he’s angry” Yuto thought in his mind. This article should write more about Yama-chan but why wrote about him? He just a co-actor in the PV anyway. He let out a big sigh.
Everyone has gone back home after the practice. Yuto can’t go home with Ryosuke as he have photo shooting for Fine Boys. Only Ryosuke left in the practice room still packing his things and then he saw the magazine. Sighing, he took the magazine and flapping the page searching for that damn article.Yes. He is angry but he pretends not to. He himself doesn’t know the exact reason why he’s angry. Is it because the article wrote more about Yuto than himself? Him, the main role in HIS songs and HIS PV?. Is it because Haruna seems to be closer with Yuto more than him? You know, the one who acted together with her in HIS new dorama? Or does he have feelings toward Haruna? No, no, no, that’s impossible. Why would he?
Ryosuke now is looking at the article page. Even though his picture is bigger but next page showed Yuto picture and Haruna all lovey-dovey. They printed out the picture when Haruna wrapped her arms around Yuto’s neck from the back. Damn! This is so annoying! He cursed in his mind. Their all sweet facial expressions made them look like a real couple.
“Ii ne...Baka couple!” he said angrily.
Then he saw a pen on the table. He smirks, knowing what he had to do with it. He took that pen, clicking it and pointing the pen on Yuto’s picture. He paused for a while, thinking. Then he started scraping, scratching, creating a masterpiece. Once he felt satisfied, he threw the magazine to who-knows-where.

The next day, Yuto is the first to come for their routine practice. Once he placed his bag he walking towards the big mirror to start his steps. But he saw a magazine opened up side down in the floor from the mirror reflection. He turned around and picked up the magazine. He turned the magazine around only to saw the yesterday-hot-article and his eyes are wide opened. Haruna’s previous beautiful picture has turned out to be someone he can even recognize! Thicker eyebrows, moles with hair all over her face, some of her teeth covered black, long hair nose, and goat’s beard on her chin. Above her head, there are words written messily like “Show-off!”, “Over-reacting!”, “Self-centered!” with pointed arrow all over her. Yuto burst out laughing while holding his stomach.
“Who would do this kind of childish thing?” he said between laugh. Eh? Wait. Who would do such thing? He stopped laughing. Curiosity replacing the funny thought. Yeah…Why? Why the culprit only scratched Haruna’s picture and not his? Who hand writing is this? It so messy and Yuto couldn’t recognize the hand writing.
Yuto flinched when other members came in the room. He hid the magazine in his bag and acted like nothing happened. But his mind was full with question marks and unsolved puzzles.
“Ohayo, Yuto-kun. You’re early today ne~”, Dai-chan greeted Yuto.
“Oh, ohayo Dai-chan!” replied Yuto.
“Oohayo!!” said Ryosuke while slapping Yuto’s back hard.
“Itai yo!” Yuto hissed in pain.
“Fu fu fu” - Ryosuke
“Yama-chan seems happier today. Something good happened to him yesterday?” Yabu asked.
“Who knows?” Yuto answered while shrugged off his shoulder still felt the pain.
After few hours practicing, they are having their break time. It’s a perfect time for Yuto to started his “Who is the culprit” operation. The one who will make a surprisingly weird response must be the culprit right?
“Hey guys, you know this morning I found something funny,” Yuto started his trick.
“What funny thing?” interested Keito asked. Everyone eyes are focused to Yuto now including Ryosuke who is gulping the water bottle.
“This funny thing!” Yuto showed the magazine page in front of other members.
“Ppuufffh!” Ryosuke blurted out the water from his mouth.
“Eeww…Yama-chan…Kimo!” said Chinen as he happen to sat in front of him and became the victim while the other members are laughing hard looking at the picture.
“Gomen, gomen” said Ryosuke between his coughing. He then looked at Yuto who is staring at him, deeply.
His heart suddenly beating so fast and so loud it’s like he can hear his own heartbeat. He quickly turned his face away as he felt his face is burning.
But Yuto’s eyes still managed to caught those blushing cheek. “Cute” He thought in his mind
“Yama-chan, why you seem so nervous?” asked Yuto.
“Eh? N-nervous? Chige yo!” the older denied.
“Then why your reaction is like that?”
“B-because it’s funny of course! Ha ha…ha…” he replied while laughing awkwardly and quickly walking away from Yuto.
“I’ve found you, culprit” Yuto grinned…
That night, Yuto tried to figure out everything. First of all, why only Haruna’s picture? If he jealous of him all lovey-dovey with Haruna because he have feelings toward her, shouldn’t he scratched his picture instead? Or…Ryosuke has feelings for him? No, no, no. Eh? Eeeh? Muri, muri, muri!

The next day, Ryosuke trying his very best to avoid meeting eyes with Yuto and avoid talking much with him. How could he? After what happened yesterday? How could he meet eyes with Yuto while his head keep replaying the scene of him scrapping Haruna’s picture while grinning stupidly? How carefully he makes sure that whatever he did with Haruna’s picture won’t affect Yuto’s even a single dot of ink? He keeps blushing whenever he thinks that until Chinen asked him if he had a fever of something.
Ryosuke’s behavior today really made Yuto chuckled. “Could he be more obvious? Kawaii” he thought.
However, deep down in his heart, he feels uneasy. He doesn’t like it when Ryosuke avoiding him. It hurts. Very. He couldn’t do anything to fix thing between them. Every one step Yuto took to get closer to Ryosuke, he just replied with one step backward, adding more the gap between them.
JUMP members just finished their ‘Super Delicate’ performance on Music Festival stage. They are walking down the stage stairs. Everyone is talking to each other except Yuto and Ryosuke. The atmosphere around them is so gloomy.
“What’s up with the two of them? “ Takaki whispered to Chinen. Wondering why these two best friends who always ‘Yama-chan! Yama-chan! Yuto-kun! Yuto-kun!’ became this lifeless, extracting dark aura around them.
“Maybe they’re having a fight?” Chinen whispered back to Takaki also seem a bit worried of those two.
Both performance today was so serious. When Yuto and Ryosuke part came in, Ryosuke look at Yuto just for 2 second then facing his face towards camera while Yuto still looking at him. Look a bit hurts. None of them was smiling. Both frowned their eyebrows as if their ready to start a fight. Their index finger also didn’t touch each other cheeks. Just pointed to each other face. Both of them were hurt actually. But they don’t want to admit and keep denying. Thanks to their ego.
While they are walking, a bunch of reporters asked to interview Yuto and Ryosuke for few minutes. They only agreed when the producer said okay. The questions are more about those two new dorama, PV, etc, etc, until one reporter started asking the ‘real’ question.
“Nakajima-san, is there anything special between you and Kawaguchi Haruna?” one reporter asked.
“Do Kawaguchi-san have special place in your heart?” another one followed.
Yuto paused. He never expected the question will be this bald. Camera focused at his face. All reporters are waiting for his answer patiently. Ryosuke too, nervously waiting and wondering what the answer would be?. Wait. What kind of answer that he wants anyway?
Yuto took a deep breath before he answered - “It’s true that I have someone special in my heart”.
Ryosuke stiffed. He bit his lower lip. Why it hurts him so much to hear that? Someone special? It must be Haruna right? Who else? He thought and with that his sight starting to become blurry. The tears are covering his eyes, just one blink the tears will flow down.
Between the chaotic among the reporters created because of Yuto’s answer, Ryosuke excuses himself-“Ano…Sumimasen deshita! I need to go first, I have a tight schedule” Ryosuke said trying to smile while bowing his head a little to the reporters and he walked away fast.
He can’t stand to be there anymore. It’s suffocating. He knows he might act rude in front those reporters but he just need to go away.
Meanwhile, back at Yuto, he smiled bitterly seeing Ryosuke’s back walking away from him. His eyes caught every single expression that Ryosuke just showed. How clearly he saw his teary eyes because of the light reflection and camera’s flash. Moreover, he definitely didn’t miss to saw his hurt looking face.
Everything was clear now. He realized his own feelings. Now, is Ryosuke’s turn to realize his own. He knows what he got to do even though the puzzles in his mind and heart still unsolved completely.
“But the person who have special place in my heart is not Kawaguchi-san ne~”, he ended with playful smile and leaving all the reporters with question marks, again. Now they need to figure out who is the person as their early assumption that the person might be Kawaguchi Haruna is totally rejected.

Yuto was running. Searching for Ryosuke. As he finished his interview, Ryosuke are no longer there. He called Ryosuke’s mobile but he’s not picking up. Then he called Ryosuke’s house but his mother told him Ryosuke haven’t reach home yet. Where could he be? Yuto tried to think hard. Then he thought of the park. Perhaps he’s there. Then he continues running.
There he saw Ryosuke sitting on the bench and he walked toward him secretly. Make sure he doesn’t make any sound that caused Ryosuke might realized his presence.
Ryosuke, who not knowing Yuto is walking toward him, just stopped crying. His eyes are bit swollen. As dense he is, he still couldn’t figure out why he’s crying at first place. Even though deep down in his heart, he thinks he knew why but he keep denying.
Right after he wiped out his last drop of tear, he saw a muscular pairs of arm at his both side came from behind. Before he can turn around, Yuto already wrapped his arms around Ryosuke’s neck.
“I’ve found you~” Yuto said playfully.
Ryosuke stiffed like a stone. Didn’t believed what is happening. Yuto’s arms around his neck and his body’s warmth against his back sent electrical wave all over his body. He raised his right hand to touch Yuto’s arm and feel the warmth on his palm but before he could do that Yuto released him and leave him in disappointment. But the disappointment soon replaced by feeling that he can even describe when Yuto now is kneeling in front of him. Stretching his hand to hold Ryosuke’s hand placed on his lap.
“Yama-chan, if I’m the one who gave you troubles, gomen, if I’m the one who hurt your feelings, gomen, if I’m the one who made you cried, gomen…honto ni…gomen ne?,” He paused for a while.
“The truth is…ore…ore wa…Yama-chan no koto…” Yuto inhaled a deep breath before he continues-“sukida yo…”
The younger said with a soft voice enough to make Ryosuke’s heart melt. At the same time, he surprised of what he just heard. What? Yuto loves him? So surprised until his tongue numb and can’t speak a word. They stayed in that position for a while.
Looking at the older who just keep silent, Yuto took his hand off Ryosuke’s and stand up. Ryosuke immediately stand up too and startled the younger. The gap between them was close. Luckily Yuto is tall or Ryosuke might bang his head toward Yuto chin when he stands up earlier.
“O-ore mo…,” said the older.
“Eh? Ore mo?” Yuto titled his head a bit suddenly became dump.
“Ore mo suki! Daisuki! Baka Yuto!!” The older screamed and quickly look down to hide his blushing cheek.
Yes, that’s the truth. He loves this guy too. Why took him so long to realized it? His silence after hearing Yuto’s confession just now was to put his mind all together. To finally admit whatever he’s been denied all this time. The reason his hurt sting seeing Yuto and Haruna are closed together…because he loves him. The reason why he turned Haruna’s picture into an alien…because he loves him. The reason why he hurt so much to know there’s someone special in his heart…Yes! Because he totally in love with him!
Ryosuke keep looking at the ground, so embarrassed to meet Yuto’s eyes. Still doesn’t believe how he could blurt out his feeling that bald.
“Hey, look at me please” Yuto plead.
Ryosuke pretend as he not hearing anything still looking at the ground. His both hands are in the pocket and kicking the grass playfully not noticing that Yuto stretched out his hand to rise up his chin and stole Ryosuke’s first kiss. He felt awkward at first of course. Who would imagine his very first kiss was taken by another guy? But it doesn’t took so long for Yuto to erased the awkwardness as his kiss felt so sweet until Ryosuke’s mind became all blank.
The light kisses slowly turned into deep and passionate one. The older opened his mouth a bit as he felt the younger licked his lower lip hard, asking for entrance allowing him to explore his wet cavern. Ryosuke’s legs starting to became weak when their tongues battled for dominance. But Ryosuke wanted more. Despite his weak legs he tip-toed and wrapped his left arm around Yuto’s neck while the other hand reaching Yuto’s head, caressing his hair enjoying the feeling of his soft hair lingering between his fingers before he pulled his head down to deepen the kiss. Ryosuke felt Yuto’s hands tightened around his waist, giving the same pressure.
They broke the kiss after a while to breath. Both panting hard while their foreheads are meeting together, staring their own reflections in each other eyes and smiling helplessly. Yuto caressing Ryosuke’s hair before he slightly remove his bang exposing the white skin beneath and he kissed his forehead gently. After the quick kiss, Ryosuke snuggled closed to Yuto and buried his blushing face on Yuto’s chest. How come that simple kiss could make his heart raced like this?
“Yama-chan…”
“Hmm?” Ryosuke replied with his eyes closed, still in Yuto’s arms.
“I don’t think I can be your best friend anymore…” Yuto said.
“Huh?” Ryosuke opened his eyes in surprised but still doesn’t want to break the hug.
“I want to be your boyfriend, forever…” Yuto continued his unfinished sentence.
“Baka…you already became one. My one and only boyfriend…” Ryosuke tightened the hug, clutching Yuto’s shirt.
“Da yo ne…” Yuto chuckled, caressing his-now-boyfriend’s hair while raising his head looking up at the blue sky. The sky seems bluer than ever. The wind blow Yuto’s hair exposing his closed eyes, smiling...
Both of them enjoying the happiness they just gained.

“Ahh…hai! Sumimasen!,” The director’s voice shocked Haruna and bring her back to reality.
At the other side, Ryosuke and Yuto are enjoying their break time and still talking. Once they don’t know what to talk about anymore Yuto lay back, resting his head a bit while placing his right elbow on the edge of the chair back, straighten out one of his leg and facing the sky. “I think I’ll sleep for few minutes, okay?” and Ryosuke just nodded.
Yuto closed his eyes and letting himself drowned by the sakura petals flying around him. Ryosuke is facing away form Yuto not until he saw beautiful white butterfly flying in the crowd of the petals and his eyes following where it flies.
Like in a shoujo manga, the butterfly flying down towards Yuto’s face and settled down on his bangs while Yuto still closing his eyes…sleeping peacefully. The butterfly which on Yuto’s bangs is flapping its wings slowly. Open…close…open…close, revealing the pattern on its wings. Ryosuke eyes focused on the butterfly at first but his sight then moving down from the butterfly’s wings, to hair bangs beneath its unseen tiny many legs, keep moving down to Yuto’s closed eyes, his nose and lastly his pink lips. His lip is so…kissable.
It was a very beautiful sight for Ryosuke’s eyes. When is the last time he examine every inch of Yuto’s face? Why just now he realized Yuto has become this handsome and yet beautiful? Is it because of the butterfly?
Suddenly, Yuto opened his eyes. He raised his head a bit when the butterfly flied away without he noticed it. Seeing the butterfly flied away startled Ryosuke back to his conscious. His heart beat so fast and he felt his face is burning. He quickly faced away from Yuto.
“Are? How long I’ve been sleeping?” Yuto asked while rubbing his eyes.
“S-saa…” Ryosuke answered titled his head. To be honest, if he was to answer Yuto’s question, he will say it felt like forever…
“Ne…Yuto-kun, after this would you like to come to my place? We don’t have anymore practice with JUMP after shooting,” Ryosuke asked after he calmed down from ‘who knows why the heck his heart beat so fast just now’ and tried to ignore everything. There are lots more things he want to talk and share with Yuto especially when they are in this together. Yuto also feels the same way. He want to hear all his best friend’s complaining and whining how difficult his role today but still Ryosuke did his best play out the role pretty well. This side of him he really admired most. Before he can answer ‘Yes’ to the older’s invitation, a pair of white, slender arms wrapping Yuto’s neck from behind.
“Yuuto-kuunn~” Haruna called playfully while resting her chin on Yuto’s shoulder. Haruna’s action made Yuto gasped in surprised and he just…speechless! While Ryosuke…his eyes opened wide and his mouth is half opened…shocked and his heart sting. Huh? Sting? Why on earth he feels like that? Just after he tried to ignore everything he felt earlier and now this? He quickly shook his head and gently hitting his chest few times hoping the sting will disappear. Yuto who caught Ryosuke’s weird behavior just frowned. What’s wrong with him today? Just now he felt like his eyes was deceiving him sawing Ryosuke’s cheek burned red right after he woke up from his sleep.
“Arigatou ne, you’ve been helping me a lot in my acting today!” she said.
“I-iie, kochira koso,” Yuto added while blushing so hard until his face turning so red like tomato. Forgetting what he’s worried about Ryosuke just now.
“Yuto kawaiii~” she said while smiling widely. No one knows how much she had gathered her courage while walking toward Yuto just now. Thinking what should she do to get his attention.
Meantime Ryosuke just pray in his heart that Haruna will move her hands of Yuto’s neck. How long she gonna stay in that position? He admit that during the shooting he saw Yuto and Haruna getting closer as she always seek for Yuto’s advise and Yuto happily giving his so-callled-advise. He thought and he feels annoyed.
“Aaahhh…kimochii…” Ryosuke let out a big sigh after he bounced himself on the bed. Today shooting was so tiring and difficult. When he closed his eyes and tried to sleep the ‘butterfly scene’,’ Yuto and Haruna scene’ keeps repeating in his mind. He shook his head hard and rolled to the other side of the bed. “Yuto-kun no baka” the words came out form his mouth softly before he closed his eyes tight and hoping to forget everything once he wake up tomorrow.

It’s been a few days since the PV shooting finished and JUMP member are having their dance practice. Chinen came in the practice room while holding water bottle in right hand and the other holding a magazine. Chinen walking towards Yuto with a big grin.
“Yuto! Yuto! Look at this! It’s all about you and Kawaguchi-san written here!” Chinen said while showing the magazine to Yuto.
“Eh? Maji de?”He looks at the magazine closer to confirm and it is true there was an article about Ryosuke new PV promotion but the article pointed out more about Haruna and his chemistry.
“Eh? Nani? Nani?”, Hikaru joining Yuto and Chinen excitedly. In a moment, other JUMP members all gathering around Yuto, interested to know what are written in the magazine. Except Ryosuke of course, he continue practicing his steps showing his emotionless expression. Yuto tried to sneak a peek to the older who is busy dancing.
“Maybe he’s angry” Yuto thought in his mind. This article should write more about Yama-chan but why wrote about him? He just a co-actor in the PV anyway. He let out a big sigh.
Everyone has gone back home after the practice. Yuto can’t go home with Ryosuke as he have photo shooting for Fine Boys. Only Ryosuke left in the practice room still packing his things and then he saw the magazine. Sighing, he took the magazine and flapping the page searching for that damn article.Yes. He is angry but he pretends not to. He himself doesn’t know the exact reason why he’s angry. Is it because the article wrote more about Yuto than himself? Him, the main role in HIS songs and HIS PV?. Is it because Haruna seems to be closer with Yuto more than him? You know, the one who acted together with her in HIS new dorama? Or does he have feelings toward Haruna? No, no, no, that’s impossible. Why would he?
Ryosuke now is looking at the article page. Even though his picture is bigger but next page showed Yuto picture and Haruna all lovey-dovey. They printed out the picture when Haruna wrapped her arms around Yuto’s neck from the back. Damn! This is so annoying! He cursed in his mind. Their all sweet facial expressions made them look like a real couple.
“Ii ne...Baka couple!” he said angrily.
Then he saw a pen on the table. He smirks, knowing what he had to do with it. He took that pen, clicking it and pointing the pen on Yuto’s picture. He paused for a while, thinking. Then he started scraping, scratching, creating a masterpiece. Once he felt satisfied, he threw the magazine to who-knows-where.

The next day, Yuto is the first to come for their routine practice. Once he placed his bag he walking towards the big mirror to start his steps. But he saw a magazine opened up side down in the floor from the mirror reflection. He turned around and picked up the magazine. He turned the magazine around only to saw the yesterday-hot-article and his eyes are wide opened. Haruna’s previous beautiful picture has turned out to be someone he can even recognize! Thicker eyebrows, moles with hair all over her face, some of her teeth covered black, long hair nose, and goat’s beard on her chin. Above her head, there are words written messily like “Show-off!”, “Over-reacting!”, “Self-centered!” with pointed arrow all over her. Yuto burst out laughing while holding his stomach.
“Who would do this kind of childish thing?” he said between laugh. Eh? Wait. Who would do such thing? He stopped laughing. Curiosity replacing the funny thought. Yeah…Why? Why the culprit only scratched Haruna’s picture and not his? Who hand writing is this? It so messy and Yuto couldn’t recognize the hand writing.
Yuto flinched when other members came in the room. He hid the magazine in his bag and acted like nothing happened. But his mind was full with question marks and unsolved puzzles.
“Ohayo, Yuto-kun. You’re early today ne~”, Dai-chan greeted Yuto.
“Oh, ohayo Dai-chan!” replied Yuto.
“Oohayo!!” said Ryosuke while slapping Yuto’s back hard.
“Itai yo!” Yuto hissed in pain.
“Fu fu fu” - Ryosuke
“Yama-chan seems happier today. Something good happened to him yesterday?” Yabu asked.
“Who knows?” Yuto answered while shrugged off his shoulder still felt the pain.
After few hours practicing, they are having their break time. It’s a perfect time for Yuto to started his “Who is the culprit” operation. The one who will make a surprisingly weird response must be the culprit right?
“Hey guys, you know this morning I found something funny,” Yuto started his trick.
“What funny thing?” interested Keito asked. Everyone eyes are focused to Yuto now including Ryosuke who is gulping the water bottle.
“This funny thing!” Yuto showed the magazine page in front of other members.
“Ppuufffh!” Ryosuke blurted out the water from his mouth.
“Eeww…Yama-chan…Kimo!” said Chinen as he happen to sat in front of him and became the victim while the other members are laughing hard looking at the picture.
“Gomen, gomen” said Ryosuke between his coughing. He then looked at Yuto who is staring at him, deeply.
His heart suddenly beating so fast and so loud it’s like he can hear his own heartbeat. He quickly turned his face away as he felt his face is burning.
But Yuto’s eyes still managed to caught those blushing cheek. “Cute” He thought in his mind
“Yama-chan, why you seem so nervous?” asked Yuto.
“Eh? N-nervous? Chige yo!” the older denied.
“Then why your reaction is like that?”
“B-because it’s funny of course! Ha ha…ha…” he replied while laughing awkwardly and quickly walking away from Yuto.
“I’ve found you, culprit” Yuto grinned…
That night, Yuto tried to figure out everything. First of all, why only Haruna’s picture? If he jealous of him all lovey-dovey with Haruna because he have feelings toward her, shouldn’t he scratched his picture instead? Or…Ryosuke has feelings for him? No, no, no. Eh? Eeeh? Muri, muri, muri!

The next day, Ryosuke trying his very best to avoid meeting eyes with Yuto and avoid talking much with him. How could he? After what happened yesterday? How could he meet eyes with Yuto while his head keep replaying the scene of him scrapping Haruna’s picture while grinning stupidly? How carefully he makes sure that whatever he did with Haruna’s picture won’t affect Yuto’s even a single dot of ink? He keeps blushing whenever he thinks that until Chinen asked him if he had a fever of something.
Ryosuke’s behavior today really made Yuto chuckled. “Could he be more obvious? Kawaii” he thought.
However, deep down in his heart, he feels uneasy. He doesn’t like it when Ryosuke avoiding him. It hurts. Very. He couldn’t do anything to fix thing between them. Every one step Yuto took to get closer to Ryosuke, he just replied with one step backward, adding more the gap between them.
JUMP members just finished their ‘Super Delicate’ performance on Music Festival stage. They are walking down the stage stairs. Everyone is talking to each other except Yuto and Ryosuke. The atmosphere around them is so gloomy.
“What’s up with the two of them? “ Takaki whispered to Chinen. Wondering why these two best friends who always ‘Yama-chan! Yama-chan! Yuto-kun! Yuto-kun!’ became this lifeless, extracting dark aura around them.
“Maybe they’re having a fight?” Chinen whispered back to Takaki also seem a bit worried of those two.
Both performance today was so serious. When Yuto and Ryosuke part came in, Ryosuke look at Yuto just for 2 second then facing his face towards camera while Yuto still looking at him. Look a bit hurts. None of them was smiling. Both frowned their eyebrows as if their ready to start a fight. Their index finger also didn’t touch each other cheeks. Just pointed to each other face. Both of them were hurt actually. But they don’t want to admit and keep denying. Thanks to their ego.
While they are walking, a bunch of reporters asked to interview Yuto and Ryosuke for few minutes. They only agreed when the producer said okay. The questions are more about those two new dorama, PV, etc, etc, until one reporter started asking the ‘real’ question.
“Nakajima-san, is there anything special between you and Kawaguchi Haruna?” one reporter asked.
“Do Kawaguchi-san have special place in your heart?” another one followed.
Yuto paused. He never expected the question will be this bald. Camera focused at his face. All reporters are waiting for his answer patiently. Ryosuke too, nervously waiting and wondering what the answer would be?. Wait. What kind of answer that he wants anyway?
Yuto took a deep breath before he answered - “It’s true that I have someone special in my heart”.
Ryosuke stiffed. He bit his lower lip. Why it hurts him so much to hear that? Someone special? It must be Haruna right? Who else? He thought and with that his sight starting to become blurry. The tears are covering his eyes, just one blink the tears will flow down.
Between the chaotic among the reporters created because of Yuto’s answer, Ryosuke excuses himself-“Ano…Sumimasen deshita! I need to go first, I have a tight schedule” Ryosuke said trying to smile while bowing his head a little to the reporters and he walked away fast.
He can’t stand to be there anymore. It’s suffocating. He knows he might act rude in front those reporters but he just need to go away.
Meanwhile, back at Yuto, he smiled bitterly seeing Ryosuke’s back walking away from him. His eyes caught every single expression that Ryosuke just showed. How clearly he saw his teary eyes because of the light reflection and camera’s flash. Moreover, he definitely didn’t miss to saw his hurt looking face.
Everything was clear now. He realized his own feelings. Now, is Ryosuke’s turn to realize his own. He knows what he got to do even though the puzzles in his mind and heart still unsolved completely.
“But the person who have special place in my heart is not Kawaguchi-san ne~”, he ended with playful smile and leaving all the reporters with question marks, again. Now they need to figure out who is the person as their early assumption that the person might be Kawaguchi Haruna is totally rejected.

Yuto was running. Searching for Ryosuke. As he finished his interview, Ryosuke are no longer there. He called Ryosuke’s mobile but he’s not picking up. Then he called Ryosuke’s house but his mother told him Ryosuke haven’t reach home yet. Where could he be? Yuto tried to think hard. Then he thought of the park. Perhaps he’s there. Then he continues running.
There he saw Ryosuke sitting on the bench and he walked toward him secretly. Make sure he doesn’t make any sound that caused Ryosuke might realized his presence.
Ryosuke, who not knowing Yuto is walking toward him, just stopped crying. His eyes are bit swollen. As dense he is, he still couldn’t figure out why he’s crying at first place. Even though deep down in his heart, he thinks he knew why but he keep denying.
Right after he wiped out his last drop of tear, he saw a muscular pairs of arm at his both side came from behind. Before he can turn around, Yuto already wrapped his arms around Ryosuke’s neck.
“I’ve found you~” Yuto said playfully.
Ryosuke stiffed like a stone. Didn’t believed what is happening. Yuto’s arms around his neck and his body’s warmth against his back sent electrical wave all over his body. He raised his right hand to touch Yuto’s arm and feel the warmth on his palm but before he could do that Yuto released him and leave him in disappointment. But the disappointment soon replaced by feeling that he can even describe when Yuto now is kneeling in front of him. Stretching his hand to hold Ryosuke’s hand placed on his lap.
“Yama-chan, if I’m the one who gave you troubles, gomen, if I’m the one who hurt your feelings, gomen, if I’m the one who made you cried, gomen…honto ni…gomen ne?,” He paused for a while.
“The truth is…ore…ore wa…Yama-chan no koto…” Yuto inhaled a deep breath before he continues-“sukida yo…”
The younger said with a soft voice enough to make Ryosuke’s heart melt. At the same time, he surprised of what he just heard. What? Yuto loves him? So surprised until his tongue numb and can’t speak a word. They stayed in that position for a while.
Looking at the older who just keep silent, Yuto took his hand off Ryosuke’s and stand up. Ryosuke immediately stand up too and startled the younger. The gap between them was close. Luckily Yuto is tall or Ryosuke might bang his head toward Yuto chin when he stands up earlier.
“O-ore mo…,” said the older.
“Eh? Ore mo?” Yuto titled his head a bit suddenly became dump.
“Ore mo suki! Daisuki! Baka Yuto!!” The older screamed and quickly look down to hide his blushing cheek.
Yes, that’s the truth. He loves this guy too. Why took him so long to realized it? His silence after hearing Yuto’s confession just now was to put his mind all together. To finally admit whatever he’s been denied all this time. The reason his hurt sting seeing Yuto and Haruna are closed together…because he loves him. The reason why he turned Haruna’s picture into an alien…because he loves him. The reason why he hurt so much to know there’s someone special in his heart…Yes! Because he totally in love with him!
Ryosuke keep looking at the ground, so embarrassed to meet Yuto’s eyes. Still doesn’t believe how he could blurt out his feeling that bald.
“Hey, look at me please” Yuto plead.
Ryosuke pretend as he not hearing anything still looking at the ground. His both hands are in the pocket and kicking the grass playfully not noticing that Yuto stretched out his hand to rise up his chin and stole Ryosuke’s first kiss. He felt awkward at first of course. Who would imagine his very first kiss was taken by another guy? But it doesn’t took so long for Yuto to erased the awkwardness as his kiss felt so sweet until Ryosuke’s mind became all blank.
The light kisses slowly turned into deep and passionate one. The older opened his mouth a bit as he felt the younger licked his lower lip hard, asking for entrance allowing him to explore his wet cavern. Ryosuke’s legs starting to became weak when their tongues battled for dominance. But Ryosuke wanted more. Despite his weak legs he tip-toed and wrapped his left arm around Yuto’s neck while the other hand reaching Yuto’s head, caressing his hair enjoying the feeling of his soft hair lingering between his fingers before he pulled his head down to deepen the kiss. Ryosuke felt Yuto’s hands tightened around his waist, giving the same pressure.
They broke the kiss after a while to breath. Both panting hard while their foreheads are meeting together, staring their own reflections in each other eyes and smiling helplessly. Yuto caressing Ryosuke’s hair before he slightly remove his bang exposing the white skin beneath and he kissed his forehead gently. After the quick kiss, Ryosuke snuggled closed to Yuto and buried his blushing face on Yuto’s chest. How come that simple kiss could make his heart raced like this?
“Yama-chan…”
“Hmm?” Ryosuke replied with his eyes closed, still in Yuto’s arms.
“I don’t think I can be your best friend anymore…” Yuto said.
“Huh?” Ryosuke opened his eyes in surprised but still doesn’t want to break the hug.
“I want to be your boyfriend, forever…” Yuto continued his unfinished sentence.
“Baka…you already became one. My one and only boyfriend…” Ryosuke tightened the hug, clutching Yuto’s shirt.
“Da yo ne…” Yuto chuckled, caressing his-now-boyfriend’s hair while raising his head looking up at the blue sky. The sky seems bluer than ever. The wind blow Yuto’s hair exposing his closed eyes, smiling...
Both of them enjoying the happiness they just gained.
Even though it took them so long to realize, it still not too late…
