I have been very busy recently, so have been neglecting LJ for a while. I will try to make a meaningful post soon. In the meantime, I wanted to alert those who read my journal to a new tool that I have installed on my LJ profile page. It is a drug search tool that links to the free version of my company's online drug database. Simply type in the name of a medication about which you would like more information. I have provided the link here and also on my profile page for future use.
Our database is mainly intended for use by healthcare professionals, so the language and abbreviations may be difficult to understand (although, we do provide a tab with an abbreviation key). However, there is a section within each drug monograph entitled "Patient Education" that may be especially useful if you are not familiar with medical terminology.
I hope you find this useful.
