Trip to Adelaide in Photos

Nov 12, 2016 22:23

Road Trip! Ms1 can now put on her own hat, and apparently help herself to biscuits as well.

She is a strong toddler, and currently delights in pushing and pulling me around. Sitting on people, especially dad, is a thing that must be done.

Ms1 and Mr4 both have an interest in music at the moment, at about the same level, and loved the keyboard at their grandparents place.

Sharing a moment with grandad.

We took a trip to Waterfall Gully while in Adelaide. We have a photo on the wall at home which David took years ago, and Mr4 said he wanted to go there. Now he has been!

Here he is justifiably proud of himself after walking all the way up to the top of the falls. Mum didn't think he would make it.

Ms1 makes herself at home in Adelaide, quite inseparable from her new doll. It is still a firm favourite.

Supervising dad at the beach.

Ms1 gives the beach a thumbs-up despite the cool conditions.

Mr4 is suitably impressed by my daisy chain.

Ms1 was asleep, but that wasn't going to stop me getting a photo.

I'm not sure why there is a pig mowing the lawn at Tailem Bend, but Mr4 liked her dress.

21st century road trip. A great help in keeping the peace. And now I know what the speakers built into Mr4's chair are actually good for.

Ms1 with dolly in one hand, and her sock (sock puppets are a big thing) on the other.

Walking the dinosaur at our motel in Nhill. Of course they have a dinosaur.

We know all the good playgrounds now I think...

Taking a walk to McDonalds for lunch.

Fountains at the local council offices were popular after the vaccinations.

The garden was also looking very pretty in spring bloom.

The weather on the other hand was cool enough to make a final fire for the season seem like a good idea. Mr4 showed Ms1 how it was done.

Although he seemed more keen on it than she was.

And having fun on the train at Tailem Bend.
