*waves in passing*

I think Ms1 has two more teeth out, but she is not keen to let me inspect. Bottom left, which was expected, top left as well which was not. Still drooling and chewing everything, so may not be done with this round yet.

Three wakings last night, which is about standard. *yawn*

We went to Continuum after the last post, running the kids room. We couldn't afford to keep the whole family in a hotel room for the duration, but we hatched a plan for a smaller room. David stayed Friday night with Mr4 as a treat, the next night David got to stay there alone for a night and morning of peace and quiet. I got Sunday night, it was amazingly restful. I was however rather glad when Ms1 arrived for her feed.

That was her first SF convention, and Mr4's 4th.

Today we ran a fencing competition. The first 45 mins after arrival were David and Mr4 marking out pistes while I ran around sorting the admin side. I'm a little bit annoyed by the lack of helpers we have to actually run these things, but that's a rant for another time.
On the up side, the fencers have been surprisingly good at registering themselves on the list by the door then bringing me money.

All events began more or less on schedule, and I busied myself lining up all the paperwork so the comp could mostly run itself while I took Mr4 to his ballet performance. Apparently this was successful, I was still at the performance when they were packing up and moving out - still on schedule.

The ballet continues to go well. He enjoys it, and felt quite excited about the performance. Today he got to run around on stage with all the ballerinas in a performance that had all the classic moments you would expect of a kids dance performance.
Ms1 was tired and feeding for most of the first half, clapping her hands when every0ne else applauded, then waking up to watch a few acts with interest. By the end of the ballet act however she was done and slept the rest of the time in my arms. Fortunately I had the aunties there to go and retrieve Mr4 to sit with us.

One of the girls in his class was apparently quite upset after their piece and needed her mum. Mum came up later to tell me what a lovely, sweet, kind boy I had, she had arrived to find him patting the unhappy girl on the back and consoling her. Aw. He has his moments.

Once that was done we returned to pick up David and the competition gear, then home to fish&chips for dinner - Mr4's request. Ms1 approves of fish.
