Out in the Aviary

AKA Our Backyard. I'm starting to get the hang of the bird ID book.

Today we have a flock of six Common Mynas playing in the birdbath and veggie pots. Technically they're vermin, but they're cute vermin, and it's nice to see the birdbath getting used.

The brown balls of fluff with big breaks recently matured into what was recognisably juvenile Butcher birds. They have also made use of the birdbath. Followed this up with a sighting of an adult, possibly one of their parents.

I'm fairly sure we have Brown Tree Creepers.

There are a few more awaiting identification when I get a better look at them. Including a couple that I only ever see as green flashes zooming at high speed through the yard. I assume they're some sort of parrot, or lorikeet, but no idea which.
