Roadtrips!

So, Hannah/Phan/Phanhannah was in Arkansas this weekend. Closest she's come on any tour. I figured I should go and see her. Which is what I did.
Driving up there was interesting. I haven't been to Arkansas in a long time, and never driven there. I saw a sign that said "BEAR CROSSING" which is a new one for me. And a guy in a donkey driven buggy. The worst was a guy in a dune buggy/go kart thing on the freeway. What was he thinking?
Took about 5 and a half hours to get there. I beat her team by about an hour. Then we found out they were actually in a different church in another town about ten miles away. I got a motel room and got cleaned up. She and her drama friends had to do drama planning stuff with the preacher.
The service was a teen rally with like 3 churches. Two of them did their own drama skits, which were pretty good. Then Hannah's group got to perform. The sketches were silly, goofy, awesome, and moving, in that order. I think there were more than 4, so count silly and goofy twice. About 5 kids made decisions for God that night.
Hannah and I got to chat for about an hour while the service was closing down. They all were going to Denny's, but I was tired as heck so I went back to the hotel. There were a bunch of college track kids or something there, and they were up all night being stupid. Someone called my room at 1 am. So I unplugged it.
The drama company had a service at 10:30, so I went to the first church and watched it. They did different sketches, which were again, funny/silly/goofy/awesome/moving. She even sang a little bit in one, which was cool. We once again hung out while they sold shirts and talked with others in the church.
Then we had to go. It was about 1:30, and I knew I had to get going. So I gave Hannah a bunch of chat transcripts I've been promising her. Gave her a BIG HUG, and said our goodbyes.
So, home now and tireds. But it was so worth it.
