The same way it costs me to fill up my Saturn with 87 octane. We must have the same size gas tank. Two years ago, it cost me a bit over $25 to fill up my tank.

I had to get gas for mom's lawn mower yesterday...3 gallon can and I stopped at $10.

I'm beginning to think an electric mower would be preferable for my lawn. But my mom has a huge corner lot. I wonder if the mower would last long enough for me to finish cutting.

I have a corner lot...but my mower plugs in. It kinda sucks having to have a couple extension cords dragging behind you, but it's not that bad once you figure out how to mow without running over your cord :-P

LOL...you don't wanna know how much it costs to mow my lawn. I have a riding lawnmower to mow my 2+ acre lawn - it takes me 2+ hours to do it. =:-0

As for commuting costs...I got ya both beat. I drive 27 miles each way to work...over $10 a day just to get to/from work. :-X

What is this? Fark? Slashies?

Get off my lawn!

Thankfully our lawn isn't that big, we probably go through a gallon of gas for the lawnmower in two months.

I have a 13.2 gallon tank total, I was close to running on fumes and I filled 12.6 gallons at 4.099 a gallon.

When I bought my Civic in 2003 it cost $15 to fill it since gas was up to $1.30 and one of the salesperson's selling point was the "higher" gas prices.

Crazyness.
