I got to hand out candy last night, first time as the new homeowner to be doing that. It was pretty fun! Cindy's family came out and decided to go Trick -or- treating with Cindy and Jacob. As much as I've scoffed at those who parade their infants around getting candy that the infant can't obviously have, I totally get it this year. Cindy so badly wanted to take Jacob around in his Lion costume to show him off, but dang did that kid bring in the loot or what? His little pumpkin bag was filled with candy, and all the good stuff! We're talking Twix, M&M's, Snickers, Milky Ways, I LOVE chocolate bars so I didn't see much of the Double Bubble's, which I can't stand.
But it was neat to sit there and see all the people I know coming by. We're still known as the "Willi House," of course one of the little kids asked their parent, "What's a Willi House?"
I'd say we had between 100 and 125 kids come by total. Enough for about 10 bags of candy.
