that looks simply amazing. I hardly even recognize the room! I say job very well done. I love the contrast of the darker laminate against the white wood work, very sharp.
Oh, and I like the halloween/fall decore as well. :-)

Thanks! Cindy is a lot happier now that its starting to feel like home. A few days ago we had a fire in the fireplace and it just made it feel even better to finally be on our own.

Now Jacob get to tells us where we screwed up and what we need to baby proof.

I love doing this kind of stuff and I'm glad we had the little bit of money to redo the flooring on this room. It looks absolutely hideous when my family moved out. Plus the 2 foot wide hole in the carpet from an electrical fire would have really gotten on our nerves.

I think i've only been in your living room twice in my exhistance, so i don't really remember what it used to look like, but i like the new, a lot :) great work. If i ever buy a house, can i contact you for the redecoration? :-P

Yeah not a whole lot of people that come by can remember what the room used to look like. I think the biggest surprise to most that have seen the room is that we have a fireplace. Even those have been in our home numerous times had no idea what was being hidden behind my parents stuff.

Cindy and I love color, ironically my new favorite room is the family room in the back of the house which was just painted a neutral color. I'm glad we are going with the white woodwork. It really makes the colors stand out even more.
