Rob - can I ask how tall your mom is and roughly what she weighs? Or, even better, what size pants she wears? If you know or she'd be willing to tell you. ;) Trying to figure out where I stand compared to that damned ride. LOL

After re-reading PB, see what you are saying. It must be the blue train that have the longest seatbelts. This was something that Cindy and I noticed when we marathoned a couple of weeks ago. However, my mom was still trying the red train.

I honestly couldn't tell you exactly her weight or size of her clothes. I would guess her about about 215. She's 5'6" and she wasn't even close in the seat. She did get help from the ride op but it was like two inches too short. This was in the Red train

*hugs* Your poor Mom. :(
Thanks for the info. We're the same height then but she's 25 lbs or so thinner than me. That's why I was wondering. The test seat has been getting much closer to fitting but I know to not expect to ride MF until next year then.

The crazy part about this is that we've been complaining about this seatbelt thing for two seasons. The test seat seatbelt is longer than the belts on the actual ride. The seatbelts are also not consistent.
It's obvious that Cedar Point has chosen to ignore this problem because they KNOW about the problem yet won't acknowledge that there is a problem. So when your big name signature ride isn't satisfying your customers do you think they are going to come back?
There's a reason why CP's attendance figures aren't growing. This isn't THE one reason, but it certainly is one of quite a few reasons why they aren't.
