Jacob is two months old!
Jacob had his two month checkup today, yep, two months.
Everything is looking very well for him. He got to show Dr. Romero how much he likes to use his legs and how well he is holding his head up. He still needs a little work on using his arms to push himself up, but other than that he's very strong and healthy for a two month old.
That breastmilk is doing him well too. He now weighs 14lbs and 8 ounces and is 24 1/4 inches long. He gained 4lbs and grew 2 1/2 inches in one month! It's amazing how much bigger he's getting everyday. It also amazes us how much more active he his getting now. He is beginning to have a regular sleep pattern of about 10:30p to 5:00a and will sleep in with his mommy until about 9:00a. He smiles, laughs, sometimes even shreiks with joy, also he frowns, quivers his bottom lip when sad, and will look confused with something new happens with him.
The thing that he won't be looking forward to though is on Wednesday. It's time to get his two month shots.
We have some pictures of him from Easter and I'll put them up eventually. The kitchen is coming along as well. Hopefully everybody had a safe and happy Easter and major hugs goes out to oldpanther, hopefully your week will end on a better note.
