Hello, all!
Just a small reminder to writers for the Fall Exchange that all fics are due on November 30, which, as of today, leaves you with ten to eleven days to turn everything in. Remember, any requests for deadline extensions should be directed to rwhgficexchange@yahoo.com, preferably before the given deadline.
Also, sign-ups for the Winter Exchange are now well underway, and it looks like we'll have a nice turnout! If you haven't made a request yet, or know of any friends who would like to participate, remember that November 26 is the last day for you to make any requests in this community, as well as in hpgwficexchange.
For clarification, as a few questions regarding the Winter Exchange have cropped up, checking "yes" for the OBHWF option means that you would like a fic that revolves around both R/Hr and H/G, giving spotlight preference to neither ship. Both would be featured equally in the same fic, plotline, settings, etc. If you check this option, you may only make one request in either rwhgficexchange OR hpgwficexchange. If you would like to make two separate requests, with two different plots and sole focus on one ship per fic, you may make one request per community.
In addition, please only request ratings that are appropriate for your age. If you're just shy of the legal age to read R-rated fics (as in, by a few months or so), I can probably let you by, but if you're a year or more away, you'll have to keep your requested rating(s) to something closer to your legal range.
Also, from now on, please ask any general questions about the Winter Exchange on this post, so I won't have to keep un-screening and re-screening comments on the request post, where I will still be answering request-specific questions.
Besides that, does anyone have posting access to harry_and_ginny and can promote hpgwficexchange for me? I submitted a request to join the comm a week or so ago, but the mod still hasn't either rejected or approved me yet, and I'm in a bit of a hurry to post. I can go ahead and type out an entire entry; I just need someone to post it for me.
