Wow. There are only four requests left to be claimed. You guys worked fast! Anyone who wanted to participate in the writing part of the exchange needs to hurry before all of the requests are gone!
Of course, there were only thirteen to begin with, but still... just one day and nearly three-fourths of the requests have been claimed. Very nice.
Anyway, this is just a post to let you guys get an idea of what kinds of neat awards and such we can vote on and give out after all the fics have been posted.
Here are my ideas for categories so far:
Best Overall
Most Romantic
Most Humorous
Most Angst-ridden (or... something to that general effect. Please excuse me, as I'm partially brain-dead at the moment.)
Most Dramatic
Best Plot Twist
Best Canon Characterization
Most Original
Best Reviewer (like what they do at dmhgficexchange, except, erm, without a cool gift certificate, because I'm broke. Unless someone else would like to donate something...? Or if I can trick convince my parents to lend me a few dollars or so to buy paid account time or extra icons for the winner. Something like that. Again, donations are more than welcome. *hint*hint*)
And then we can come up with "official" names for the categories that are more interesting, of course.
So, what do you guys think? Any ideas?
Oh, and by the way, what do you guys think of the comm profile? I whipped together some stuff in Photoshop yesterday because I was tired of seeing only boring old words in the userinfo. It just looked too plain. Now, if I can just get a move on with the community header...
