Wow! Only two requests left on the Official Grab Post, so if you were wanting to write something for this round, now's the time to stake your claim!
This won't take more than a few minutes to read (so please do), as it's just a quick post to say a few words about:
E-MAIL SUBJECT TITLES
From here on out, when you send an e-mail regarding the current exchange, your message will be automatically filtered into a specific folder based on the following system:
• Questions: General, specific, ridiculous, serious-- whatever you'd like me to at least attempt to address regarding the community or the latest exchange, feel free to e-mail. Just be sure to include the word question in the subject line.
• Beta Reader Confirmations: If your beta cannot comment on the officially designated comm entry for any reason, have him/her e-mail the comm address with at least the words beta confirmation in the subject line.
• Fic Submissions: For sending in your finished fic(s), include at least the words fic submission in the subject line.
• Deadline Extension Requests: Having writer's block problems? Can't reach a computer to write out and send your submission? For any conflicts with the set fic submission deadline, just send a message with at least the words deadline extension in the subject line.
• Progress Updates: Any deadline extensions should be accompanied by at least one or two progress update e-mails. While I won't be enforcing this policy with Big Brother-like severity, I DO expect each individual to take the initiative to keep in touch. These e-mails should include at least the word progress in the subject line.
Pretty simple and self-explanatory, in my opinion. I just really, really need everyone to adhere to these guidelines in order to keep the comm e-mail inbox from becoming an absolute disaster zone, especially once we jump into a brand-new exchange, savvy?
