These are the best days of our lives
Okay. So. *deep breath* *inhale, exhale.* *CHATTERUNGA*
I met Anthony Rapp. Julia Murney. Jesse Martin. Victoria Clark. Trent Dawson. Melina Govich. Harvey Fierstein. Van Hansis. Iline Kristen. Jennifer Landon. Paul Leyden. Phyllis Newmen. John Tartaglia. and Jacob Young. And I saw Beth Leavel, Diana DiGarmo, Paige Davis, Andrea McArdle, and Edie Falco and so many more amazing people.
So let me gush. Try to capture every memory. lol.
My mom and I walked around for like 2 hours, looking at all the tables and walking to some gift shops. (Got birthday tickets for Drowsy Chaperone! November 5th!!! Thanks, Grandma. lol) The Rent one booth tiny and hardly had anything. Or maybe all the good stuff was already bought. The Wicked one wasnt much better, all Eden and Megan and not Chenzel. Nothing that great. All sold out probably. At 2, we got on line for the 3. At 2:30, they opened the 3 line and EVERYONE WENT INSANE. Seriously, it was like a concert times 10. There musta been at least 2000 people there just to see Rappy and Jesse L. Martin , and they were all pushing and shoving. So many people there were, not to be mean, but fat, and crushing like everyone. Luckily, my mom and I were behind some gay dude who knew what he was doing and in front of these nice people from Houston and one girl who went like every year. So we go online and im shaking. Literally shaking. Before that I see Ilene Kristen and give her a huge smile, and she returns it. Off to a great start.
Julia Murney was the first, and she was SO SWEET. She signed a piece of paper I had, then talked to me for about three whole minutes. I told her how I loved The Wild Party and listened to it 50 times in one day, no joke, and she laughed and was like, "Wow! Are you okay? *laughs*" then turned to my mom and was like "you have to hear it too then? I'm sorry. *laughs*" and basically we talked about how much I loved her and how amazing I think she is and then she told me "It's so nice to meet you!" about 100 times. I really love that woman. She's so adorably sweet and SO PRETTY in real life. I just can't get over how amazing she is. More about her later.
We move down the line and everyone is so sweet. Really, all of them. And the guys? HOT. I need to start watching some soap operas! lol They were all really nice too. Really nice and really hot.
Then we come to ... Anthony Rapp. As you can guess, I was shaking for him too. I saw him from a far and gave him a huuuuge grin. When I get there, I say in my shaky, falsetto voice,
M: Hi! Can you sign this please? *gives Without You*
Anthony: Sure. whats your name?
M: Marisa. =)
A: What? *Leans in*
M: *blushes* Marisa.
A: Marisa? One S or two?
M: One.
A *signs* Here ya go.
M: thank you! I love your book! It's amazing. I read it like twice.
Anthony: Thank you, thank you very much.
My mom: Rent changed her life really. I used to want her to come see Broadway shows and after Rent she loves it.
Anthony: *laughs* thats great.
Me: Yeah, thakn you so much.
Or something along those lines. It was so hard to hear him because of all the people and he talks really quietly. In person, he looked similar but a little different. His hair is a little more red and hes growing it out. He had a cubs hat on. He still looked so adorable, but not as adorable as he looked. I'm not really sure why but honestly I was a little disappointed with him. I just hate when people talk quietly. Maybe that was why. But I love him the same, none the less. Everyone has their days.
I went along the line, only getting autographs for the people that my mom wanted or that I felt bad for, lol. There were some celebrities that like nobody knew. They were all adorably sweet though, all laughing and smiling at me and my mom. That one was SO HOT. looked like Brad Pitt! Only hotter.
Jesse was the last one on line, Trent Dawson between him and Anthony.
M: Hi! can you sign this please?
Jesse: sure, darling! *laughing* *signs*
me: thank you! I love Rent! Collins is one of my favorite.
Jesse: *still laughing* well thank you!
Something like that. He was great. They called Anthony, after Julia, to the photobooth. THATS WHEN THE CHAOS BEGINS. Dude, it was like a can of sardines moving towards the open slit, okay? Picture a concert. Now multiply that. It was crazy. This tall guy kept like rubbing his leg into me and the girl behind me goes, "THERE IS A POLE...UP MY ARSE...", lol. Everyone ignored the pole. They ripped the stupid guide line rope things right off, throwing them down, thus creating a mob scene. I was so totally squished! My mom was yelling at like everyone. She goes, "THIS IS A CRAZY PLACE, THIS IS CRAZY! THIS ISNT WORTH IT! WOULD NEVER DO THIS FOR ANYONE!" And I go, "That's because you have your priorities in line. I dont." and the girl in front of me laughed, lol. Then they declared Anthony's picture taking time was over... >.< No picture with Rappy. I was kind of upset because that was who I really wanted to see... But Jesse came right out, and after making friends with an asian named Eric or something, we got in and took a picture with Jesse. Gorgeous. Gorgeous, gorgeous guy. His skin is so perfect and his grip is so strong. So gorgeous.
Me: Hi!
Jesse: Hey! Nice to see ya!
Me: You too!
J: How ya doin?
Me: I...am ... great.
J: *laughs* me too, me too.

Then, while we were still up on the stage thing, Julia walks by and my mom goes, "Oh, can we have a picture!" {which you arent supposed to do} and she goes, "sure!" and we took a marvelous lovely beautiful amazing picture together, therefore driving my love for Julia Murney deeper and deeper. Now I think we have to get married. lol. Then, before she leaves, she taps me and goes, "Bye!" and waved. How sweet is that? she went out of her way to say goodbye to me. I love you Julia Murney.
After that, my mom and I tried to get a picture with Anthony but it was too late. Oh well. I was disappointed, but my love for Julia overruled it. We walked around near the door, waiting for Anthony. Someone else asked for a picture but he said he couldnt do them. he shook my MOTHER'S HAND, NOT MINE, and went inside. >.> Why didn't I touch him! haha. Well, I think after that we just walked around. We went into the resteraunt, Juniors, and I called Jenny and ate grilled cheese with bacon, as usual. My mom got a BLT or something. It was okay I guess. Really big. After that, we walked to the train station and went on the train, which stopped and had a black out several times. Not fun, but whatever. I musta looked at those pictures like 100 times. lol. Great, great day.
