thar be pirates
Just when I thought my life had turned into mommydom and its days filled with sesame street, Evan and I watched it today and the title: "three pirates" . Tina Fey shows up to sesame street as the pirate captain with two other pirates (muppets...one a "salty dog" with an eye patch). They steal books because they are "book"aneers. Elmo wishes to be a pirate, and no lie...one of his tasks is to say the alphabet with the giant squid. well, not THE giant squid, but their giant squid. Also, the letter of the day, because it's a pirates favorite letter (and no, they explain, it's not R) is F. Tina then proceeds to say the pirates love words that begin with the letter F. OK! The words they like are fish, flag, and fluglehorn. I guess they decided to leave out some other words beginning with the letter F that pirates like.
