Quote For The Day:

"When I'm the commissioner of sports, I'm changing the word 'holdout' to 'contract welcher.'" - Bill Simmons, ESPN.com Page 2

Wow.  Long online list.  You can tell everyone's back at school, cause there's no longer limits because of the use of their parents' comps or whatever on their AIM time.

So what's gone on since last time.  Came back to FL, obviously.  Spent four days at the beach with the Grandparents and Christina.  That was interesting.  My back and shoulders saw the sun for the first time in years. (BTW, thanks, Baby.)  Of course, I fried.  Went to Kennedy Space Center.  It had been a while.  That place is still cool, though.

Came up here and crashed with Token, Julian, Doc, and Josh.  That was an interesting few days...  And Friday night moved into the dorm, with the help of Christina and Grandad.  They worked on my room alot yesterday.  Took two trips to WalMart... that sucked, quite frankly.  The place was packed with people, mostly because people didn't have the common sense to just bring the kid going to school and a parent, but there was a bunch of families that had like six kids clogging up the aisle.  Then they had the TVs marked wrong, so I had to go back and replace the one I had... but I got a 20-inch flat-screen. :-D

Anywho, I finished putting away the last of my stuff today.  But I think I might do a little rearranging of my desk, maybe.  Or at least see why the cords all seem tight... but whatever.  The room is pretty cool, I think.

The roommates seem cool.  They're both into gaming more than I am.  The one seems to spend most of his time doing that either online or on XBox Live, and the other is either on the box, or with his girlfriend, as far as I can tell.  I guess we'll figure that stuff out next week with school starting.

But other than that, I've spent most of my time in Tallahassee with Chiefs.  Tonight was Hymn Night.  It went really well.  I think I liked it better as a rookie, but it was still awesome.  And my row's cool too.  Good rookies.

In sports, the Marlins are third in the division at 4.5 games out, and third in the Wild Card at just a game out, so things are looking good.  The 'Phins are 0-3 in the preseason, but two out of those three were games where our starters played well and the reserves lost it, and the other game was against Pittsburgh, which is one of the top three teams in the conference.  Plus, we finally signed Ronnie Brown, so I'm looking forward to this Saturday's game against the Bucs.

Ok, link time.  Two this time, and they're both worth reading and participating in:

Ok, I'm gonna go watch a movie or something till Christina calls.  Have a good one, and remember, never, ever trust a good-looking guy with a nice mustache.
