We have an emergency...
I've probably mentioned this before but I swear there are theme nights at the Emergency Room. If one little kid comes in with a cough nobody can be left out and we've a waiting room full of children that sound like frogs for hours. If some old man comes in unable to urinate the lobby is soon filled with potty dancing geezers. Last night was choke on your food night. One lady had choked on chicken, a man had a grape stuck in his throat, and I'm not sure what the other one was. At least one of these people came by Ambulance. Have someone in your family learn the heimlich maneuver for goodness sake!
And now I'll share with you something amusing that happened a few minutes before 6:00 this morning. A patient came in with some kind of arm injury and our Tech, Josh, said something about this person's 'wristal' pain to one of the nurses. When the nurse commented that wristal wasn't a word he shot back "Everything's a word at 5:00 in the morning!"
I think I had a third work related thing to mention but I can't remember what it was now so this is all you people get!
