Facebook again & good news!
Haha, Hassan is on Facebook XD He had signed up a while ago but never figured out how to use it lol
An old pen pal of mine found me back on Facebook too!! (woo, pen pals... that was the way to "chat" before internet chats came along... XD) It was the one pen pal I was most active with, we where good friends! She's from Greece and we haven't exchanged letters in years! I'm glad that she found me on facebook, that's such a nice surprise! Last thing I rememebr sharing with her was that I was about to take the driver's exam for the first time... back in highschool, I was 16-17? XD;;;;;; Wow, that was 10 years ago, can it be?! The sad thing is I probably threw her letters away when I moved out of my parents' house... Hm. It doesn't really matter I guess ^^;
Good news good news: the windows & door guys came and did the installation anyway (anyway: even though we did not have a permit yet) this morning, they said they were confident city hall would not mind since they are in good terms with them... So I have my new windows and patio door!!!!!!!!!!!! ;o; I'm so happy!!! I have yet to see their work, but I'm sure the patio door is amazing X) It will be so awesome to be able to go outside directly in the backyard instead of having to walk all the way around from the front of the house!!! This means more barbecue! :q I bet Nova will be happy too, she'll have the whole backyard for herself!!
And... city hall called this morning, our permit is ready XD; Seems like the front desk lady was being pessimistic with her 2 weeks process time. I guess the city people noticed that we wanted to start the works TODAY and processed our permit request first~ SO NICE OF THEM X3 HAPPY!!!!!
AND... my mom and I talked about the baby stuff. I said the crib set she picked was fine and she was like "but if you like another one better I can always bring this one back you know, I got it because I liked it but also because it was the last one, I was afraid there might not be any left if you decided this was the one you wanted"............!!! XD So everything is GREAT, she made sure to stress that I could pick any other one I liked instead and even sent pictures, and she has even offered to buy more baby stuff, like a change table and miscelaneous stuff like a bath, a nail clipper, baby towels, etc. ;____; I'm so spoiled!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really didn't expect so much generosity, I'm so thankful~
So... I felt like total crap on Friday night, I cried myself to sleep, but... it seems like I was just being overdramatic X)
And I'm leaving work at 2:30 pm today because I have a doctor appointment, TODAY IS A GOOD DAY X)
